It is sad to see so many pharmacists making bad choices and not studying for this exam with a strategic approach and not planning their time in the right way.
The result? Being stuck with the scores, feeling frustrated year after year! Asking for shortcuts and help last minute!
Many are practicing only with sites like Test Glider and they think they are on the right track! In fact, that track is only taking some of them who need a different roadmap in the wrong direction!

How to get 26+ in the TOEFL ibt speaking section

Task 4:

Look at the question and start the response directly.
Two benefits of forest fires for animals.
Introduction> one sentence> read the question exactly the way it is written> The professor explains two benefits of forest fires for animals.
Except in some questions, you may have to say what the definition is first shortly if the concept is not a familiar word like "display behavior", or " cornivirous plants".
The first benefit is…. Focus on taking notes in the next 2-3 sentences whenever the professor says, "One way is, the first way is….. Say what it is and describe it in one sentence.
For example> 2-3 4 sentences.( Write the keywords)
The second benefit: one sentence> 40 seconds
Example: 2-3 sentences.
Some Task 4 questions do not ask for two ways, two benefits. In that case, you need to focus on taking notes on the main idea and the details, and examples that support the main idea. Again write keywords and focus on listening to the audio well. Strong memory skills help you to change the keywords you write into long sentences to explain.

Good luck to everyone taking the TOEFL exam this weekend!

How to get 26+ in the TOEFL ibt speaking section Follow up:

Task 3:

Write the keywords from the Reading to explain the concept. You must explicitly or implicitly explain the concept. (Some teachers have different opinions about this part. This is how I teach!)
Quickly underline the keywords in the concept because you will focus on elaborating the information about how the professor is explaining those keywords from the Reading part with details and examples. This is how you will integrate Task 3 concept and the professor's explanations. Make sure that you include 2 of the examples and that you do not need to explain ALL the details.
Again, do a focused practice on only looking at your notes and changing them into longer sentences. This is a skill-building exercise and you should not focus on the time or speak like you are in the exam.

How to get 26 in the TOEFL iBT speaking section : Follow up

Task 2:

In the reading part, focus on the change and one or two details about the change. Don't summarize! Write the keywords for the change and the reasons for the change. Answer the questions:
What and Why? ( Reasons must be explained very shortly)
What and How? ( You should also explain how very shortly)
Some teachers say that you do not need to mention the reasons. I do not teach that way.
I think you should really focus on taking more detailed notes from the listening section. You need to explain why the man or the woman agrees or disagrees in detail. If you can't write detailed notes, then write the keywords and focus on listening and remembering the details well. Remember, the man or the woman is commenting on the reasons the reading mentions. This is another fast way to understand exactly what the man or the woman is talking about.
Again, do a focused practice on only looking at your notes and changing them into longer sentences. This is a skill-building exercise and you should not focus on the time or speak like you are in the exam.

Next Task 3.....
