The Prophet ﷺ used to make du’ā when he experienced rain clouds and wind and say:

“ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا وَشَرِّ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ»رواه مسلم.

“O Allah, I ask You for the good of it, for by the good of what it contains , and for the good of what is sent with it . I seek refuge in You from the evil of it , from the evil of what it contains, and from the evil that is sent with it.”

‎ إِنَّا ِللهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

It is with sadness that we announce the death
of Aunty Nurah (Anne Cormack)

_This dear lady is the only muslim in her family therefore we humbly request you to attend either masjid or Meadows to support _

The funeral will be held in Masjid Tawfiq after Duhr 12.30pm

Aged 73 years

May Allah SWT be most pleased with her and grant sabar to the family’s in this diificult time, Ameen

The prayer will be held at:

Muslim as encouraged in the following sayings of the Prophet
(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) below:

1) The Prophet ﷺ said:
"The duties of a Muslim towards his fellow Muslim are five: to return his greeting,
visit him when he is sick, follow his funeral, accept invitations and say
'Yarhamuk-Allaah (May Allah have mercy on you) when he sneezes)."
[Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim]

2) The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever attends a funeral and prays over the deceased will have one qeeraat (of reward),
and whoever attends until the deceased is buried will have two qeeraats." He was asked,
'What are these two qeeraats?" He said, "Like two huge mountains."
[Sahih Bukhari]
