Fear Allāh سبحانه وتعالى and lower your gaze!

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

‎“Between the eyes and the heart there is a connection which means that the one is affected by the other, and if one of them becomes good, the other will also become good, and if one becomes corrupt the other will become corrupt. If the heart becomes corrupt the gaze will become corrupt, and if the gaze become corrupt the heart will become corrupt, and similarly if one is sound the other will also be sound.”[Al-Jawaab al-Kaafee of Ibn al-Qayyim | Pg. 125]

To all of us our phones have become an extension of our body. It is the body part I have commited the most sins with and until today, nothing has damaged me like Social Media has done.

It has damaged and broken me and I fear it will leave scars that never go away. Scars in form of habits that destroy your mental and physical health.
A never ending cycle of sins.
And I can not blame anyone but myself.

Abu Hāzim said: "Any blessing which does not make one closer to Allah is in fact a trial."

And who do you (really) have other than Allah? Indeed you have no one, start making that the first thing that comes to mind.

Narrated Hudhaifa:
*Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) intended to go to bed, he would recite:

بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

(With Your name, O Allah, I die and I live)."

And when he woke up from his sleep, he would say:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا، وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

(All the Praises are for Allah Who has made us alive after He made us die (sleep) and unto Him is the Resurrection)."*[Saheeh Al-Bukhaari 6324]

if you want to die with the shahadah you have to live by it, and to live by it you have to love it.

if you want to die with the shahadah on your tounge it has to be in your heart first.
