Out of everything that calls to sin, music (singing, instruments) exceeds all of them.

1. Accusing the prophet ﷺ of hiding revelation by not telling us to do this act of worship.

2. Saying the prophet ﷺ was not aware of this act of worship, and you have been guided to it instead of him.

3. You love the prophet ﷺ more than Ayesha رضي الله عنها, Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه, and the rest of the companions رضي الله عنهم - or that you know how to worship Allāh عز وجل better than they did!

Know that the one who truly loves the Prophet ﷺ is the one who follows his Sunnah and does not invent new matters into the deen of Allāh عز وجل!

Eid Mubarak ?

May Allah reward each one of you that wants to seek knowledge for the sake of Allah sincerely.

Please do not waste this Eid,

nor think this is the end of your Qur'an reading.

Nor, is it the end of your tahajud prayer.

Nor, is it the end of fixing yourself.

This is the start of doing all these things and these things never end but until death.

"And be not like those who forgot Allâh (i.e. became disobedient to Allâh), and He caused them to forget their ownselves, (let them to forget to do righteous deeds). Those are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh)."

Qur'an 56:19

تقبل الله منا ومنكم

Ya ALLAH, On this blessed the Day of ARAFAH , I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for a blink of an eye. Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship except You.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

A reminder to myself first and to anyone who reads this: Make the most of the day of 'Arafah and turn off any distractions like social media, chatting/insta etc.

Our Rabb is the Most Merciful and the Most Loving. If there's one day to ask for forgiveness and your deepest wants/wishes its the day of 'Arafah. Isolate yourself and talk and pour your heart out to your Rabb.

Day of 'Arafah is like no other day. Increase your efforts like its your last day of 'Arafah in your life.

If you feel like you may have slacked these last couple of days, prove yourself in this day. Wallahi, wallahi this day is the day that should not go to waste.

May Allaah make us successful.

Al Hafidh Ibn Abdilbarr رحمه الله said,

"The Dua on the day of Arafah (9th of Dhul Hijjah), all of it is accepted in most cases."

[At Tamheed Vl.6 Pg. 41]

Imam An Nawawi رحمه الله said,

“This day (of Arafah) is the best day of the year for prayer, so it is necessary that a person exhaust his effort in dhikr, prayer and the recitation of the Quran.

And he should pray with the various types of duaa, he should pray for himself, his parents, his family, his teachers, his companions, his friends, his beloveds, all those who did good to him and the Muslims generally.

And he should be careful, totally careful from being inadequate regarding all of that. For Indeed this day can not be attained again (once it is lost).”

[Al-Adhkaar Pg. 333]

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh

Sending ṣalāh upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday is better than on the rest of the days, and its night (Thursday night) is the best of nights. He ﷺ said, “Among the best of your days is Friday, so frequently send ṣalāh upon me therein.”

‎اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
‎كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
‎.إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

‎اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
‎كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
‎.إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
