• Thomas Jefferson physically hand wrote the Declaration of Independence and took 17 days to write it.
• On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was officially adopted by Congress, but it took nearly a month before the actual signing of the document took place.

• More than one copy of the Declaration of Independence exists. Two additional copies were found in the last 25 years.

• The Declaration of Independence was not immediately made public.

• Eight People who signed the Declaration of Independence were born in the United Kingdom.

• One signer, of the Declaration of Independence later recanted.

• Benjamin Franklin was the oldest person (70) to sign the Declaration of Independence.

• The Declaration of Independence spent World War II in Fort Knox.

• John Hancock was the first person to sign the Declaration of Independence.

• The original rough draft of the Declaration of Independence was lost.

• Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died on Independence Day, July 4, 1826, 50 years after the first Independence Day.

• The first public reading of the signed Declaration of Independence took place on July 8, 1776, in Philadelphia.

• Every 4th of July the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia is tapped (not rung) 13 times in honor of the original thirteen colonies.

• Congress initially kept the names of the men who signed the document secret until January 1777 to protect them from charges of treason.

• Independence Hall was originally called the Pennsylvania State House, but was changed after the signing of the Declaration of Independence when it became Independence Hall.

• The Declaration has only left the capital twice. The first time was when the British attacked Washington during the War of 1812, and the second time was during World War II from late 1941 until the fall of 1944 when it was stored at Fort Knox.

• The document stayed in Philadelphia until each of the 56 delegates could eventually travel there by horse. It would take six months for all the signatures to be compiled.

While many people at the time were aware the Declaration of Independence was written, most of them never questioned or understood the reasoning for a formal declaration which was they had to formally declare themselves independent of Britain if they (the colonies) wanted foreign aid from allies to help them in severing ties. It was of the utmost importance that all 13 colonies come together as a single body. After all, a colony by itself wouldn’t be taken seriously on the world stage by a world power such as France, but the colonies together as one nation would. This was groundbreaking at the time, as each colony viewed itself as a nation state, much like the countries of Europe.

The resolution was passed unopposed on July 2, 1776. A formal statement was already drawn up in advance to announce the declaration but could not be released until after the Assembly passed the resolution approving the release.

As someone who served in the Air Force in the 80s, this is alarming! 7 out of 10 people are overweight in the military! When I served if I was even 1 pound over my weight limit for my age and height, I got assigned extra PT (exercise) at 5am in the morning. We were called “fat bodies” and had to go to the “fat farm” which was the blacktop where we did our PT. Our feelings weren’t hurt and we certainly did not invoke some DEI woke crap! It made us tougher and gave us this thing called “thick skin” something that has become nonexistent in recent years thanks to DEI. If you weighed too much, it was your job to get back within your permitted weight range. It made us stronger and instilled a sense of accountability. Consequences for our actions ruled the day. If DEI rules your day, then stay out of our military! The readiness of our troops is at risk and that puts our national security at risk. DEI is purposely weakening our military and that is by design and THAT should scare each and every American!

We Can Save America with General Jural Assemblies in Every State

All the chaos happening in our country can all end if We the People find the courage and most importantly, the fortitude, to stand up and do our duty as outlined in The Declaration of Independence. Sadly most self-professed american patriots are inherently lazy and they rather be blissfully ignorant to whats happening in our country and the world around them rather than to take action to keep America the land of the free, home of the brave for future generations. People, we were never truly free. We only have the illusion of freedom. America has become the land of the FEE, home of the SLAVE.

I ask every God-fearing American patriot to read the following paragraph below from The Declaration of Independence and really take the time to digest each and every important word and then ask yourself, what can I do?

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. that to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing it powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate, that governments long established, should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”
