Orientation for First Batch of 2017 E.C. STEM Students

Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU), through its Community Engagement Directorate, is committed to fostering a culture of science across Ethiopia. As part of this mission, the university provides STEM education opportunities for secondary school students, aimed at nurturing their talent and encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship.
In line with these goals, AASTU recently organized an orientation session for the first batch of 2017 E.C. STEM students. The orientation was led by Dr. Abraham Debebe, Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer at AASTU, who highlighted the importance of STEM education. Dr. Abraham emphasized that STEM is essential for empowering students to succeed in the future, using a student-centered approach to learning.
