Moondog's birthday rolled by recently. Moondog died in 1999 and few remember it, but so it is. Stefan "Lakatos" Pedersen, Moondog's only apprentice died earlier this year as followers will know. I thought it was the end of one of the most interesting and utterly unique expressions of recent musical history. And then it turns out that Stefan himself had one sole apprentice. It lives!
