Hah, I just realized: Hewg was tasked with making a God-slaying weapon, but you can beat the game with a +0 Dagger. All weapons are God-slaying weapons.

Like the shackle he wears that isn't actually attached to anything, Hewg is bound to a duty that he cannot, or rather, already has fulfilled. He will never be free. That's why he goes insane when you slay the Elden Beast and he realizes that his work still wasn't enough.

I HATE THIS GAME

I really hate this game for what’s its done to me. I have over 300 hours on the game not including the DLC. I Haven’t played it since the start of the year. I haven’t even played the DLC yet. Now, the reason I hate this game is for the fact that every other game sucks compared to it. The only game worth buying since Elden ring came out has been Black Myth Wukong. I resorted to downloading games from the ps plus, I play them for the 10 minutes then delete it. Elden ring is so great everything feels like shit I hate it. Sorry yall for the dumb outburst
