Today we lost my good friend, colleague, and teacher professor Takanori Fukushima.

He made an enormous invaluable contribution to the development of neurosurgery.
Dr. Takanori Fukushima has performed more than 24,000 neurosurgery cases.
Regarded as a master of skull base surgery, Dr. Fukushima was the creator of the “keyhole surgery” technique.
