Anyways leaving analysis behind, the reason I am posting this message is because I am debating whether to continue this channel. I definitely enjoyed posting, but I wonder is it because I am chasing the dopamine from reactions/ replies?? There is a lot on my list to do in 2025, 2024 was a year of growing pains - my personality is less Duke Nukem these days (I haven't fired a gun in over a year) 😭.

Tl:dr: telegram drama + thinking about the future of the channel

This is not a resentful hate-post 👀, I am sure if we put everything on the scales, I am to blame for the situation just as much as everyone else involved. I enjoyed my time with them and I learnt a lot, despite all our disagreements. In many ways I find my fate comedic. In the unlikely scenario they are reading this post, I can only ask for fogiveness.

In my opinion, telegram is a cross between twitter and instagram but for a different audience. The admins on telegram are the same as normal 'social media influencers' in personality, they just have a non-advertiser friendly sense of humor. Like conventional influencers, they also have a certain vanity and insecurity to them which many times presents as arrogance. A blatant example of this are the people who flex they only use telegram as of this elevates them (wait that's me 😳).

I am still extremely busy but I wanted to post this. I don't usually post about personal stuff, but it's related to telegram and the channel so... go with it.

I started using telegram in 2019. It was, and still is, the only "social media" I use. I have followed and unfollowed many channels, but there were two I consistently followed. As 2024 began, with the encouragement from another admin on telegram, I started this channel inspired by the previously mentioned 2 channels I enjoyed. Fast forward, this year is coming to an end and in a twist of fate... I am banned from both those channels and blocked by the person who told me to start my channel in the first place 😅.
