**Al-Basir البصير

*THE ALL SEEING

➖

۞ قُلْ أَؤُنَبِّئُكُم بِخَيْرٍۢ مِّن ذَٰلِكُمْ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّـٰتٌۭ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَأَزْوَٰجٌۭ مُّطَهَّرَةٌۭ وَرِضْوَٰنٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ ١٥Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Shall I inform you of what is better than ˹all of˺ this? Those mindful ˹of Allah˺ will have Gardens with their Lord under which rivers flow, to stay there forever, and pure spouses,1 along with Allah’s pleasure.” And Allah is All-Seeing of ˹His˺ servants. Surah al Imran: verse 15*

*Allah, all praises and glory be to Him, is al-Basir, the One who sees all things. Whilst the human faculties of sight are limited, Allah sees all things, even if they seem insignificant. He can see a black ant, on a black rock in a black night. He sees what is above the seventh heaven and below the seventh earth.

In some situations, especially when we are alone, we assume that nobody can see us. Further, we think that if no-one can see us, we will never suffer any consequence for our wrongdoings. This is a great delusion, because Allah sees even the smallest act. He even sees the room in which the person is, the rooms surrounding that room, the entire house, the city and country that harbor that house, the continent in which that country is located, the entire Earth, all planets, space, and all other dimensions beyond it.SubhanAllah. 

In the Qur’an, Allah informs us that He is aware of everything:*

**وَمَا تَكُونُ فِى شَأْنٍۢ وَمَا تَتْلُوا۟ مِنْهُ مِن قُرْءَانٍۢ وَلَا تَعْمَلُونَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ إِلَّا كُنَّا عَلَيْكُمْ شُهُودًا إِذْ تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَا يَعْزُبُ عَن رَّبِّكَ مِن مِّثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَلَآ أَصْغَرَ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكْبَرَ إِلَّا فِى كِتَـٰبٍۢ مُّبِينٍ ٦١

There is no activity you may be engaged in ˹O Prophet˺ or portion of the Quran you may be reciting, nor any deed you ˹all˺ may be doing except that We are a Witness over you while doing it. Not ˹even˺ an atom’s weight is hidden from your Lord on earth or in heaven; nor anything smaller or larger than that, but is ˹written˺ in a perfect Record. (Surah Yunus: verse 61)

هُمْ دَرَجَـٰتٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ ١٦٣

They ˹each˺ have varying degrees in the sight of Allah. And Allah is All-Seeing of what they do. (Surah al Imran: verse 163)
Allah is also all-Hearing and all-Seeing and He is most aware of those who deserve recompense, according to the dictates of His wisdom. Nothing we do will go unrecorded or unrewarded. Take note and use your time well.

Call upon Allah as Al-Baseer, knowing He full sees your situation, He knows your affairs, and He is the one who is a witness to your good and bad.

Al-‘Adhim العظيم ***THE EXALTED

➖

فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ٧٤***So glorify the Name of your Lord, (Al-Adhim) the Greatest.

“Then glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, al-Adhim” (Al-Waqiah (56):74)
*He is described with the Attributes of glory, grandeur, greatness and magnificence. He is the One Who is greater, more exalted and magnificent than anything. He is glorified and magnified in the hearts of His servants and close ones, their hearts overflow with His Greatness and magnificence, submission to him and humility before His grandeur.

**Al ’Afuww العفو

THE FORGIVING
➖**

إِن تُبْدُوا۟ خَيْرًا أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ أَوْ تَعْفُوا۟ عَن سُوٓءٍۢ فَإِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَفُوًّۭا قَدِيرًا ١٤٩

“Whether you disclose a good deed, or conceal it, or pardon an evil – verily Allah is al-’Afuww [the Forgiving], All-Powerful” (Surah An-Nisa:149)

Allah, all praises and glory be to Him, is the One who is described as having the Attribute of forgiveness. He, is the One who is described as showing forgiveness and clemency towards His servants. We are all deeply in need of His Forgiveness, just as we are in need of His mercy and kindness. In Surah Ta Ha, Allah promises forgiveness to those who repent, believe and do righteous good deeds, and remain constant in doing them. The doors of forgiveness are always open.* We should not lose a moment in repenting and turning to Allah, and beseeching Him to forgive us.

أسماء الله الحسنى

وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ فَٱدْعُوهُ بِهَا ۖ Allah has the Most Beautiful Names. So call upon Him by them 7;180

**?*

Abu Hurayrah narrates that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah has ninety-nine names. Whoever memorizes them will enter Paradise.”***

The word translated as memorised in this hadeeth may include the following: 

1. Memorising them

2. Understanding their meanings

3. Acting upon what they imply. So if a person knows that He is One, he will not associate anything else with Him; if he knows that He is the Provider, he will not seek provision from anyone else; if he knows that He is the Most Merciful, he will do acts of obedience that are a means of attaining this mercy… And so on

4. Calling upon Him by these names, as Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): **“And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allah, so call on Him by them” [al-A‘raaf 7:180].

➖**The aim of this channel is that you memorise Allah سبحانه وتعالى beautiful and lofty names with their unique meanings (unique in a sense that even though we may understand a word such as “forgiving” or “wise” it is completely unique when it is the name of Allah Azzawajal, Allah is unique in His names and attributes) and use these names to call upon Him in your Dua as well as a means to know Him and love Him. May Allah make us of those who love Him.

Allah has the Most Beautiful Names. So call upon Him by them
