ITS Hub is a CosmWasm-based contract on Axelar that serves as a central routing hub for all token transfers across the Amplifier, consensus chains, and non-EVM chains like Sui and Stellar.

Some key benefits of ITS HUB are:

💫 Unified token routing simplyfying bridging for EVM chains and non-smart contract ecosystems like Flow and Sui

💪 Enhanced security with balance tracking, rate limits, and robust state management for seamless transfers.

A proposal will soon be posted to upgrade the Axelar Network on Wednesday, December 18. The proposal will be subject to on-chain governance. If approved, it will cause an upgrade starting at 10:30AM EST (3:30 p.m UTC, Block 15,890,800).

This release will enable the mainnet deployment of ITS Hub. See the v1.1.2 changelog for more details on the release (https://github.com/axelarnetwork/axelar-core/releases/tag/v1.1.2). The upgrade is expected to last approximately two hours. The Axelar network, Satellite, token transfers and General Message Passing will not be available between the hours of 3pm and 5pm UTC. The live proposal will be posted on axelarscan.io/proposals.
