Russia and Belarus to Form Unified Electricity Market

Turkey Calls for Mutual Payment System with Russia

Turkey's exports to Russia decreased by nearly 22% in the first half of 2024, amounting to $3.795 billion. As a result, Russia fell from 7th to 10th place among Turkey's importers.

"Turkey is facing challenges due to the sanctions imposed on Russia, particularly in the export of industrial goods," said Hakan Topkurulu, deputy chairman of the Turkish Vatan Party. He also noted that Turkey lost $1.382 billion this year due to the sanction pressure from the United States.
