"Home Front are here to offer …

"Home Front are here to offer relief - you loved Games of Power and you loved "Nation" so here it is on 12"s of the deepest widest grooves imaginable. Blast this out of every open window you have access to and make sure they hear you screaming in the commons. Backed by "Slice of Paradise" - an unthinkably catchy neo-diy new wave ballad that could win Eurovision and shine your boots at the same time, and "Jupiter" - a synth grooved, Tangerine Dream tinged lost soundtrack to Rock Em Sock Em 10. Bang the walls, bang your head, cry yourself to sleep, and Scream at a Nation."

“London’s Subdued return with an even …

“London’s Subdued return with an even darker statement of purpose. 8 tracks of anarcho punk that threads different UK underground traditions—descending like a dense fog of grief and anger to block out the light. Fans of Subdued will find an old friend in the galloping toms, the snide and articulate hopelessness of Jack’s lyricism, the spider-webbed guitar-work, the bass like a blunt instrument. But this record has embraced a new level of mystical antagonism towards the everyday world, towards England, towards post-industrial society, towards hell itself, that it necessitates a new kind of songwriting. The tracks are oblique and embrace emotional fragmentation. The guitars are bathed in moonlight, stunning in their evocation of darkness, the drums are somehow more frenetic, and more introspective in their varied pacing. These songs poke at the possibility of salvation, but walk away from the table, leaving a cool presence in their wake like a ghost.”

"Self Obliteration" is defined as any …

"Self Obliteration" is defined as any behavior that is harmful or potentially harmful towards the person who engages in the behavior. It is also applied to the potential at a communal or global level for the entire human race to destroy itself through the technological choices made by society and their possible consequences. Keeping that in mind and applying that knowledge toward writing fucked up hardcore you can start to see into the world of Sect Mark with all its darkness and anger being the driving forces. There is no beauty left in that world, no light. And in that world this is pure poetry: “Eat the broken stones, the old picutres of the churches; the pebbles of gone floods, loaves scattered in the gray valleys.”"

"KRIEGSHÖG is back. 5 years after last single, 14 since debut album, the Tokyo Hardcore band finally delivers a new release.
Is a record of consummate savagery and monster riffs. Picking up where Paint It Black 7” left, and moving forward as a heavy toned hardcore record that finds the band in its own realm. While following the Japanese tradition of long running bands operating at their own pace and mastering their sound along the way. The band leave behind their speedier sound, moving now at a slower tempo but still pummelling their riffing sound. The incorporation of a new drummer, adds much more than a steady beat, amplifying the KRIEGSHÖG sonic experience. Their sound is bass-driven to the point of near hypnosis, becoming quasi-psychedelic at times. The guitar tone is a nasty crunch, vocal delivery has only got more brutal, with a glass eating demon on the mic conjuring the darkest side of your soul. Perfect for night rides into the abyss."

Fresh and good as fuck spit …

Fresh and good as fuck spit by Concrete Elite and Ultra Razzia.

"Opening with three rolling tanks from Austin's CONCRETE ELITE in the hard-edged, oi! bordering-on-ugly-hardcore style that we expect from them, recorded in the same session as their split with FACTION-S. On the flip side, a quartet of new ones from ULTRA RAZZIA. Retaining the noire from last year's "Jusqu’au Bout de la Nuit" album, but some of the extra drama has been stripped back a hair for a more "traditional" sound."

"Lost Legion is an Oi! / …

"Lost Legion is an Oi! / Streetpunk band from Chicago, USA mad by musicians of Snake Handler, Fuerza Bruta, Warrior Tribes, and Future Shock. Lost Legion put the Oi! first but doff the cap to rock'n'roll. To make a Templars reference would be fair, but thicker guitars and definitely faster songs live here. Lost Legion take influence from Blitz and 4 Skins (duh) but with screaming guitars. Bridging Electricity is hard-hitting; think contemporaries such as Syndrome 81, Vis Vires, Crown Court, Castillo in a blender. But Lost Legion have found that thin line of staying true to a genre while producing unique sounds and ideas."
