⚫️ Just in a few minutes, at 13:00 UTC, an NFTs featuring Pavel Durov in the poorly drawn style by the creators of the buzzworthy meme token $DUREV will be sold on the Ton Raffles platform.

⚫️ A total of 1,400 NFTs are available for purchase at a price of 15 TON each, with a maximum of 50 units mintable per wallet. Owners are promised plenty of pleasant bonuses: drops of new meme coins (agreements are already in place with three projects), enhanced features when using the branded VPN service, and utilities in a game that is currently under development.

*📈 *Accessible staking for token holders and creators

⚫️ For over three months now, the platform for organizing staking pools, JVault, has been live in the mainnet. Since our last publication, the number of tokens that can be staked on the site has increased to 35. Let's see what has changed during this time.

⚫️ First, a reminder: staking involves depositing tokens into a special pool and receiving rewards for it. JVault allows you to independently create such pools, determine rewards, and the conditions for their distribution among users. Thus, the platform has seen the emergence of numerous unique staking offers for lesser-known tokens.

⚫️ Right now, the development of several promising tools is underway. You can familiarize yourself with the project's roadmap on the website, where by the end of the first quarter of 2024, it is planned to add the ability to create pools with locking one token and receiving rewards in another. *📒 *Why create multiple TON wallets?

⚫️ Today we’ll talk about a seemingly obvious topic: creating additional addresses for various needs. Initially, this might seem like unnecessary hassle, but over time, each of you will definitely face such a need.

⚫️ The first, and most obvious example, is a wallet for work. If you're an experienced TON user, you likely participate in projects and establish commercial contacts within the ecosystem. For official communication, it's convenient to have a separate wallet. Ours is thedaily.ton.

⚫️ Also, if you're just an active community participant, having both a personal and a public wallet won't hurt. A public wallet can be used for contests, to collect NFTs and SBTs, and accordingly, to create a profile in TON Society based on this address. Meanwhile, a personal one comes in handy for storing the bulk of your funds and experimenting with high-risk assets.

⚫️ Bloggers and projects sometimes create special wallets, using them as elements of a show. The goal might be to increase funds or simply trade various strange tokens «live» as done on the channel Full Metal Jetton.

⚫️ Speaking of FMJ, our colleagues recently shared an interesting lifehack when using Simple Staking. We recommend reading their post to discover another way to use multiple addresses.

*✈️ *Why do token creators revoke ownership rights?

⚫️ On TON, it's possible to edit smart-contracts, including token contracts called «jetton». Initially, this functionality is necessary for setting up metadata and minting coins, but afterwards, the admin rights need to be «revoked» to prevent any changes to the ticker, name, and most importantly, the issuance.

⚫️ This process is called «revoking ownership» and is a mandatory marker of reliability for every popular token on TON. Rights are transferred to a «zero» or empty address, which no one will ever have access to. Consequently, no one will be able to mint new coins for their own benefit (including the author).

⚫️ For example, one of the conditions for an official listing on the leading exchange on TON, DeDust.io, besides having informational channels and at least 2000 TON TVL, is that very revocation: ownership rights on the token contract must be revoked.

⚫️ You can manually check a coin's status on https://minter.ton.org (which, by the way, is commonly used for creating new tokens). You need to enter the token's address in a special field to get a response whether its ownership rights have been revoked or not. The address for most coins can be found on Dyor.io.

🖊 We strongly recommend doing your own research before investing in any tokens and projects. The world of web3 is unforgiving of mistakes, but this is precisely what helps to increase the level of financial literacy among network users.
