This is something that is not fully understood in the west. How Russia suffered because of the Nazis. We are not allowed to forget the Holocaust, but the extraordinary number of Russians who were killed is but a footnote, practically unnoticed. Perhaps if history had been balanced in terms of education, we might not be in the position we are today, supporting a Nazi ideology prevalent in Ukraine.
