Biblical Truth: 'trinity'
We have a Duality:
The Father (who IS a spirit: He manifests His power as 'the Holy Spirit': not a 3rd person') is the one true God;
and His only begotten Son 'begotten' not made before time, later manifest in the flesh, who carries all of Jehovah's Spiritual spirit power and authority.
This is the plural Elohim of Creation: God (as the Spirit)'s Word: Jesus, who created our physical universe.
Hence John 1:18 Jesus, the only begotten son, can declare His Father Jehovah, (whom no one has seen because God is a spirit).
Jesus has God's spirit perfectly within him, which is why the apostles, link to Thomas, recognised his 'divinity'. Jesus talks to His Father, prays to His Father, represents His Father, is an agent for His Father, and has been given Life by His Father, to be intercessor.
Brian quotes Matt 28:19 which mentions 'all 3 persons' of the trinity. It's surprising the other two didn't correct him, as this phrase is also an insert not found in the original Hebrew Matthew.
Similarly, as they note, 1 John 5:7 is a later inserted verse (it's still in the KJV).
These are the only two "Father, Son, Holy Spirit" 'trinitarian' verses - and the fact that both are inserts should tell any biblical christian that there's a problem with the trinity.
Time is not just 'past, present and future': there is a 'before time', when there was no time: when Jehovah begat His only begotten Son Yeshua... before time.
Yeshua: "Jehováh saves": has all the Life, power and authority of God, separate and manifest in the flesh, with God's Spirit within him. And Yeshua defers to His Father, the one true God.
