CLASS ACTION. This is a call for volunteers who are living in England, and who are fluoridated or threatened with fluoridation. If you are not fluoridated or if you are not threatened, you cannot join this action but please continue to read to inform yourselves.

Please email Joy on [email protected] if you want to take part in this historic push to rid ourselves of fluoride once and for all. We have a legal team and are all set to go.

To check your fluoridation status, visit your water company's website. Only 5 companies currently fluoridate: Anglian Water, Northumbrian Water, Severn Trent, South Staffs Water and United Utilities.

However, should current proposals proceed, then other water companies will become involved. At the moment, anyone living in Cornwall, Worcestershire, Greater London, Norfolk, Nottinghamshire including Nottingham, Rutland and parts of North East of England including Northumberland are threatened. Also, parts of Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire which lie close to the Nottinghamshire border are also threatened if they are sent water from Nottinghamshire water treatment works.

We have learned that Greater London is now threatened and that Sadiq Khan is reviewing the request put to him 2 weeks ago by the Health Committee (under delegated authority) of the Greater London Authority.

The Secretary of State has not yet announced the result of the North-East Public Consultation which is somewhat delayed, probably because the Establishment is in a tizzy over the judge's ruling in the USA in Sept 2024 that "fluoride poses an unreasonable risk to the health and IQ of children".

Now is the time to act decisively. Join the Class Action for the sake of your health and human rights. Your children and grandchildren will thank you.

IMPORTANT ACCOUNCEMENT

We're waiting for the inauguration of Donald Trump on 20th January and the appointment of RFK Jr as his Health Secretary. Both are opposed to water fluoridation. Their proposal is for WF to cease in the USA.

The UK and the Republic of Ireland are locked into WF by extant legislation. In England's case, it's the Water Industry Act 1991.

For us to have the law fatally weakened, a legal challenge is necessary in England (and Wales). A positive move against WF in the USA will strengthen our case.

The great day has arrived for those living in England who are opposed to water fluoridation. Fluoride Free Alliance UK has retained a Barrister and a Solicitor and we intend class action to legally challenge this practice.

We are looking for people to join the class who live in England who are either fluoridated or who are threatened.

Group A (fluoridated).
Group B (threatened) : The potential to join in this litigation grows daily. Once we get wind of a Director of Public Health announcing that they wish their County Council to propose to Wes Streeting that the County should be fluoridated, that implies that you are threatened. All members of this Channel who live in the following areas can volunteer:

Cornwall, Norfolk, London, Nottinghamshire,
Rutland, County Durham, South Tyneside, Sunderland,
Darlington, Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar with Cleveland, North Yorkshire villages in Rishi Sunak's constituency, Alston and Nenthead (North-East Cumbria)
plus previously non-fluoridated parts of
Northumbria, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire,
Worcestershire Newcastle -on-Tyne.

Please volunteer by emailing Joy on [email protected]. You will need to state your post code, full name, address and water company. Give us a brief reason why you oppose WF. Also tell us if you consider yourselves to be in Group A or in Group B. We will check fluoridation status before writing back. You will then be invited to a "mass" zoom meeting with our legal team. No-one will need to shell out for travelling expenses.

In parallel with building the classes, we will be crowdfunding. This will guard members of the two groups against compensatory costs should we lose following court action. (There should be no financial concerns prior to any court hearing.) However, it is by no means certain that the issue will ever get to a court hearing, but the Directors of Public Health seem determined to forge ahead with proposing WF for England despite all the damming research evidence which has been published recently, so we need to plan accordingly.

Please volunteer yourselves and ask your adult relatives, neighbours and friends to also volunteer. Please also propose civil society organisations who can be approached to join us in this class action.
