Don't take this as me talking bad about these people. I like this video. It's a good-natured documentary about taking a friend to a movie on his birthday. Videos like this were rare even back when there was still a little bit of humanity to go around.

I lied. Dave Grohl's drummer died about a month after that movie was in theaters. And they didn't kill him in Columbia, which is a nation that keeps good track of stuff, so it's very hard to make people disappear or die there. Don't worry about it.

Your country does seem to have much more intense politics. In Britain, they announce the political advert and which party it is from beforehand. They can only have one a day and at certain times I think. Also, and for all my country's many faults, there are hard limits on how much money parties can spend on elections. I have found that people don't tend to talk about the election until the day of it, even your most pumped up normie activists, which is a relief. You see people have their little signs outside their house, but beyond that it is very lowkey. I have lived in swing constituencies too which are massively competitive. You might even see your local candidate. I have met a former chancellor of the exchequer because he knocked at my door asking for my vote, lol. Also, it seems that in Britain elections are free and fair. This is mainly because the votes are counted in a big public area, like a town hall, where people from all parties can be present to observe the process. Obviously, it is very propogandised but it seems votes do count here. I mean, if they didn't, you wouldn't have the country's second in command kowtowing to me for my vote, lol.

Thanks for reading my spontaneous essay. God bless.

Let's say that I have some "inside baseball" perspective on this kind of thing.
