Actions are a part of Īmān

فَالْأَعْمَالُ رَحِمَكُمُ اللَّهُ بِالْجَوَارِحِ: تَصْدِيقٌ عَنِ الْإِيمَانِ بِالْقَلْبِ وَاللِّسَانِ، فَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقِ الْإِيمَانَ بِعَمَلِهِ وَبِجَوَارِحِهِ: مِثْلُ الطَّهَارَةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ، وَالصِّيَامِ وَالْحَجِّ وَالْجِهَادِ، وَأَشْبَاهٌ لِهَذِهِ وَرَضِيَ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ بِالْمَعْرَفِةِ وَالْقَوْلِ لَمْ يَكُنْ مُؤْمِنًا، وَلَمْ يَنْفَعْهُ الْمَعْرِفَةُ وَالْقَوْلُ، وَكَانَ تَرْكُهُ لِلْعَمَلِ تَكْذِيبًا مِنْهُ لِإِيمَانِهِ، وَكَانَ الْعَمَلُ بِمَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ تَصْدِيقًا مِنْهُ لِإِيمَانِهِ، وَبِاللَّهِ التَّوْفِيقُ…

Al-Ajurri - rahimahullah - said in Ash-Shari'ah: "So the deeds - may Alläh have mercy upon you - with the limbs are an affirmation of the imān in the heart and upon the tongue. So whoever does not affirm iman with the deeds of his limbs, such as: the purification, the prayer, the zakah, the fasting, the hajj and what is similar to this, and he is pleased for himself with (only) knowing and saying (the truth without acting upon it), then he is not a believer and the knowledge and speech do not benefit him. And him leaving the deeds is a falsification of his iman, while performing the deed which we have mentioned would be an affirmation from him of his imān. And all success is from Allah..” until the end of the quote.

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said,

"The signs of a hypocrite are three:
1. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.
2. Whenever he promises, he always breaks it (his promise ).
3. If you trust him, he proves to be dishonest. (If you keep something as a trust with him, he will not return it.)"حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَبِي عَامِرٍ أَبُو سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ آيَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ ثَلاَثٌ إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ، وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ، وَإِذَا اؤْتُمِنَ خَانَ‏"‌‏.‏
