Shaykh Salih bin Fawzan al-Fawzan al-Fawzan (hafidhahullah) said:

**A fasting person would be fasting and have severe hunger, thirst and tiredness,

while having no reward with Allah,

due to the following reasons:

• His tongue utters speech which is haram (forbidden).

• His eyes gaze at that which is haram.

• His ears listen to that which is haram.

Then in reality this is not fasting, rather he merely left off food.**

If Allah gave you skills, use them for sake of Allah and to help bring victory to our deen! Not for worldly benefit.

If Allah gave you wealth, spend it in the way of Allah!

If Allah gave you knowledge, use it to help educate the minds of the believers.

Don’t wait for anyone to tell you what you need to do, work and strive for your religion however you can, and with whatever you have.

Islam doesn’t restrict women from learning knowledge but the condition is it must not distract you from your Lord & it should be done under Islamic Guidelines. We as an ummah need to have knowledge of both the fields, the era of Internet one can easy excel in any field of Knowledge from Home. It is the need of hour for muslims to learn both islamic knowledge & Worldly knowledge. Gain excel in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Astronomy, Mastering Arabic language with firm Base of Islam & imaan.
If you study these subjects you will be amazed how Allah has created us, this universe, All these things in a magnificent manner & increases your imaan. Being a Muslim does not mean that you neglect your worldly responsibilities towards Deen.

Al-Ijliya Al-Astrulabi (10th century) - The making of astrolabes, a branch of applied science of great status.

Sutayta al-Mahmali (10th century) - she excelled in many fields of knowledge such as Arabic literature, hadith, and jurisprudence as well as mathematics. She was an expert in hisab(arithmetics) and fara’idh (successoral calculations), both being practical branches of mathematics which were well developed in her time.

Many ignorant people relied on the mercy of Allah, His pardon and generosity and neglected His commands, violated His prohibitions but forgot that He is severe in punishment.

It was said: “Will it be because of our small number that day?”

He ﷺ said: “No! You(muslims) will be numerous at that time, but you will be like the foam of the river. And Allah will remove the fear of you from the hearts of your enemies and will throw wahn into your heart.”

Someone said: “O messenger of Allah, what is wahn?” He ﷺ said: Love of the world and the hatred for death.**

Important Hadith -

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim said:
‎والشاب التائب حبيب الله
‘𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵.’
[‘Jawab al-Kafi’, 1/191].

When a young man is in his prime, he is physically strong and he has strong desires, which the Devil tries to channel in the wrong direction, to commit sins: i.e. drink wine, gamble, fornicate, steal, etc.

Similarly, when a girl is young, she is in her prime. Her beauty is at its peak. The Devil tries to convince her to display her beauty, attract men, and commit sins.

It’s difficult to give up sin and repent at this stage of life.

As we age, beauty fades, wrinkles appear, we become less attractive, sexual desires die down, the body aches with every movement, etc, etc.

The opportunities to sin become less and less and the opportunities to reflect and repent become more.

This is why the repentance of the youth is special and more impressive than the repentance of the elderly, yet, God loves all those who repent!

The pious young guy and the pious young girl will have a special place with God in the hereafter
