Response

- Every nation involved in the Second World War had internement camps for enemy populations, including America, Germany and Japan. The Germans interned the Jews, America interned the Japanese and the Japanese interned European, mostly the Dutch. Using this as propaganda is pointless and moot because every power in that war did it.

- The amount of deaths both in the American internement camps and the Japanese internment camps is heavily exaggerated, both sides, largely treated their prisoners with respect to civil code, particularly among the Japanese if anyone was caught dishonorably treating captured prisoners they were subject to commit Seppuku: a form of ritual suicide that originated with Japan's ancient samurai warrior class meant as a punishment to those who dishonor Japanese customs and Japanese law.

- The photo displayed is of course emaciated pow's who were starving for several weeks because of American bombings on the Philippines Island (the nation where the photo was captured) which resulted in the starvation of the many 105,000 soldiers who died under "Japanese custody". There are also photos of many European and Japanese prisoners of war being treated graciously and decent respect but of course won't be shown because it doesn't fit the narrative of Anti-Japanese propaganda which is sworn to make the Japanese out to look like some savage hun (often the intent of the US War Department)

- The appropriate response to atrocity propaganda against the Americans by Asians (who more often than not are not Japanese but a variety South-East Asian ethnicities and Chinese) is not atrocity propaganda against the Japanese to prove some type of emotional or revengeful point. The Axis and Allied powers of World War Two both had internement camps, concentration camps and many of their prisoners due to bombardment, lack of supplies, dehydration, war exhaustion and priority of resources to the frontlines when left possible to transport died in unfortunate circumstances.
