The Prophet ﷺ said :
((مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِه )) رواه مسلم .
"Whoever leads you to(any) goodness will have the same reward as the one who did it"

We started by the grace of Allah a program for young students where they will study basic fiqh so that when they start praying there’s no doubt in its conditions and pillars and pray the correct way إن شاء الله ، in fiqh they will study the section of purification & prayer : from the rulings of water ,pillars&sunan of wudu, what breaks wudu , how to perform it , conditions & pillars of salah and many more !

In the seerah classes they will study the life of the prophet summarized , his manners , his family , his braveness in doing dawah , and his companions .
so that they know the prophet more , love him and take him as their role model .

We ask Allah سبحانه وَتعالى for aiding us in these classes and giving us tawfeeq and make it beneficial .

1️⃣ ? first Hadeeth:  it’s talking about the obligation of fasting in the month of ramadan and few wisdoms behind it

عَنْ عبدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ -رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا- أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ  -صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيهِ وَ سَلَّمَ-  قَالَ : (( بُنِيَ الإِسْلَامُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ : شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَ أنَّ مُحَمّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ، وَ إِقَامِ الصَّلاةِ ، وَ إِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ ، وَ حَجِّ البَيْتِ ، وَ صَومِ رَمَضَانَ )) . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ

The shaykh said -May allah preserve him- :
This hadeeth shows us that fasting in ramadan is a obligatory and that it’s from the pillars of Islam and from the great foundations of Islam , Allaah made it obligatory upon his servants for great wisdoms and secrets (hidden wisdoms) that it’s so much that if we would ponder of it we would be overwhelmed of how great it is , some people know these wisdoms behind the fasting of Ramadan and some are ignorant of it .

From it’s wisdoms :
1️⃣ the fasting of ramadan Is a worship to Allah the most high , the servants is coming near to his lord in doing this worship (fasting) by leaving off what the servants loves and desires for the sake of obeying his lord and to take the command of Allah , and by leaving what he desires the truthfulness of his imaan will appear and it will also appear to be a true servant to Allah (to complete the servitude to Allah) and also how much the servant loves Allah and how much he hopes that which is by Allah (jannah and his pleasure) because he realised that the pleasure of Allah is in leaving of his desires.

2️⃣from the wisdoms of fasting is that it’s a reason to reach at tawqa and to purify the soul by being obedient to Allah in that which he commanded and to stay away from that which Allah made prohibited ,
Allah said :
-( يَــٰٓأَيُّها الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ )-

“ O you who have believed fasting is made obligatory upon you like it was obligatory upon those who came before you ; so you fear Allah “
(At taqwaa is : to come with the commandment of Allah and to leave off what’s prohibited)

3️⃣ from the wisdoms of fasting is to rehold the soul from its lusts and to cut of the things that the soul was used to do and to narrow the places where shaytan flows in the veins of the servant by lessen the food and drink so that the veins where the shaytan flows becomes weak and because of that to come with sins will be less .

5️⃣ from the wisdoms of fasting is that the heart becomes clean and that there’s space to think and to remember Allah ; because to take and input desires makes the heart dry and makes the heart blind of knowing the truth , and fasting will protect the health and strength of the  heart and limbs

6️⃣ from the wisdom of fasting is to recognize the blessing of Allah upon the servant to be full from food and water when he remembers by fasting the hungry stomachs of the poor and needy so then the servant is thankful to Allah and feels the pain of his muslim brothers that didn’t find something to eat , and that the amount of blessings and virtues are not recognized until it’s lost .

7️⃣ from its wisdoms is , the health benefits that leads to through fasting , (these health benefits) that you get by lessen the food and to protect the body by ordering the time of meals and to relief the digestion for a period of time (the days of Ramadan)

And summarized : the wisdoms of fasting are great and the benefits are a lot and Allah has added on it a great reward , if the fasting servant would imagine it , he would be so joyful and happy and he would wish that it is ramadan throughout the year .
