8 March is feminist day of resistance. We burn with rage at the ongoing violence and the patriarchal system. As feminists, we have been taking to the streets together on 8 March for over 100 years to overcome this system.
In order to strengthen ourselves in this struggle and give each other strength on this day, we are setting up a strike café as a place to retreat and network.
From 11 a.m. to midnight, we will provide food - both on site and to take away. Brunch to dinner. There will be the opportunity to make signs for the demos. We will also be organising a separate retreat room and childcare from 11am to 8pm for children aged 4 and over.
