The role you’re applying for

We are cooking up several big new initiatives, one of which is Pass App, a suite of products that will completely revolutionize how people experience and engage with web3.
We’re looking for a Team Lead with a strong background in software development and team leadership and a passion for web3 to join the team. This means getting in on the ground floor and working at a “startup within a startup” to build something truly innovative and bring it to market. This role will have a tremendous impact on the company and the evolving web3 landscape.

What you’ll be doing

Lead and manage a cross-functional team of developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship, to achieve timely delivery of project goals
Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from design and architecture to implementation and deployment
Collaborate with and support product managers and other stakeholders to define and execute product requirements
Design and maintain an application architecture that supports business integration, user growth, and optimal tradeoffs in performance, privacy, security, and maintainability
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to the highest coding standards and best practices
Identify process improvements and implement new methodologies to increase team efficiency
Foster a collaborative and communicative environment where everyone is inspired to contribute, solve problems, and achieve shared goals
Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in all technical decisions
Strong organizational and planning skills, with a strong focus on execution and delivery

What we’re looking for

10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working on projects at scale
5+ years of experience in leading a cross functional team of 6+ team members
Demonstrated professional experience in building and delivering a software product ensuring scalability, reliability and availability
Hands on experience in event-driven architecture using Socket.IO/Websocket
Experience with designing, developing and maintaining a scalable mobile application using React Native, Node.js and Micro-service architecture
Experience with web3 tools and technologies, particularly within the Ethereum ecosystem
Experience with agile/scrum methodologies
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges
Demonstrated professional expertise in maintaining elevated testing standards, including rigorous unit, integration, and component testing
Strong working knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, CI/CD pipelines, Github Actions, AWS, Docker
Extra credit
Working knowledge of smart contracts, react native mobile app
Working knowledge of account abstraction, cryptography
Working knowledge of WalletConnect/Viem/Firebase/Biconomy/Moralis/Coingecko
Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes

​​Senior Data Scientist

We are an infrastructure protocol for AVSs on EigenLayer to automate and optimize their restaker payments. In order to achieve this, we model the security needs of an AVS to determine the Profit from Corruption (PfC), how much value is at risk, and Cost of Corruption (CoC), how much value secures the protocol. This is used to allow AVSs to understand their security levels and plan to optimize them with our protocol. The responsibility for this role is to model the formulas for calculating the PfC and CoC. Formalizing the calculations requires understanding the underlying protocol mechanics and scenario implications.

Responsibilities

- Lead and drive innovative research to understand how different actors in the crypto market behave and interact.
- Create precise formulas for calculating CoC and PfC for a variety of AVSs.
- Create simulations to test and stress test these formulas
- Build data models and visualizations of simulation results that provide intuitive analytics to customers. 

Requirements

- 2+ years of professional experience in Data Science
Previous experience in FinTech or DeFi domains
- Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
- Hands-on experience with Python and relevant data science packages
- Must have hands-on experience in model development, production-grade implementation, and performance monitoring.
- Broader understanding of crypto and blockchain ecosystem - Advantage

The Community Manager will be responsible for managing and engaging the project’s English-speaking communities through social media, messaging platforms. This role requires a great understanding of crypto communities.

Responsibilities:

- Manage Telegram groups, Discord servers, and other online communities
- Create engaging English content including translations, social posts, articles, guides, etc to educate and excite the community
- Monitor English-speaking community conversations and moderate based on guidelines. Remove spam, ban violators, and flag any concerning content.
- Respond to community questions and concerns from the audience in a timely and thoughtful manner. Escalate to the team where needed.
- Identify and collaborate with ambassadors to grow the community.
- Gather insights into interests, concerns, and needs of the English speaking community members to inform content and community strategy.
- Broadcast company blogs, articles, marketing promotions to support community growth.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

- Product Stripes: 4+ years of experience in product management and with shipping Saas products. 
- Design Hat: Empower the designers with the right inputs and support their creativity. 
Technical Chops: Solid understanding of agile software development. Collaborate closely with engineers to find ways to deliver value to customers sooner rather than later while simultaneously balancing the needs for addressing bugs and tech debt. 
- Data Driven: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL is highly desirable. 
- A Unicycle: Know how to strike a balance between business needs, customer wants and engineering feasibility.
