Hello everyone,
I want to know what obstacles you are having in Old English, if anyone wants to share. This will tell me what learning-images to make.
Mīne lēofan frēondas, ƿitaþ þæt ic on ēoƿic ġelīefe!
My dear friends, know that I believe in you!

Lads, you can do it. Study hard and you'll be victorious. Your Old English will be improved. Hail!
To like or to not like
To express that you like something in Old English, it is the following:
Mē līcaþ þæt þing.
Literally this means:
To me pleases the thing.
Meaning:
I like the thing.
Key: the subject in the OE is the object in the ModE translation. The conjugation goes with the subject in the OE.
Grammatical gloss:
Mē - "Me" 1st. person, dative, singular, personal pronoun
Līcaþ - "pleases" Verb. present, indicative, 3rd person, singular
þæt - "The" definite article, neuter, singular, masculine
þing - "thing", noun, singular, nominative.
In the negative:
Mē ne līcaþ þæt þing.
"I do not like the thing."
Examples in via positiva:
Mē līcaþ sē snāƿ - I like the snow.
Mē līcast þū - I like you.
Him līcaþ þis - He/they/it like(s) this.
Hire līcaþ sē hund - She likes the dog.
Hunde līcaþ sēo mæġþ - The dog likes the girl.
Examples in via negativa:
Mē ne līcaþ Grendel - I do not like Grendel.
Mē ne līcaþ þæt ic þis dō - I don't like to do this.
Hire ne līcaþ sē dæġ - She does not like the day.
Mē ne līcaþ hit - I do not like it.
I hope this helps.

It's worth repeating again and again. To learn Old English well, you need a grammar book. There is no way around this.
