What CDs should I get to burn music/other data to in bulk?

Is there a certain kind? I have a few CD/DVD readers that I’ve ripped from old towers. As for the discs, I have no idea what I should do for my FLAC files. Any suggestions for what I should buy? I always like the idea.

Is 110€ for 4 TB HDD a good price?

I need a big drive for some backups and whatnot, not sure if it's normal price, it's going to hurt a bit lol

I've only looked on Amazon, I don't know if you can recommend a better site for drives in western Europe

Moving storage spaces to external enclosure

SSD fried on my old PC but I have 5 3TB drives configured as storage spaces. At this point I would rather stick the drives in an external enclosure than worry about buying another SSD and maybe PSU.

Will these drives be recognizable as storage spaces? Or will I have to hook them up via SATA for windows to rebuild the storage spaces?

Are there any USB to SATA interfaces that support port multipliers

I've got a few multi-drive towers with only eSATA interfaces. I'd like to connect them to a NAS that has USB 3.0 interfaces. I know eSATA has fallen out of favor these days. Are there any USB to SATA/eSATA interfaces that support the SATA multipliers built into these towers? So far I've only found PCIe cards that will do it.

Is there a way to save HTML5 games?

I found a game I used to play when I was younger (in Flash Player).

Now this game has been converted to an HTML5 game, but I'm not able to save it in any way. Saving the page won't load the game properly. Does anyone know a way to actually "store" the game on my hard drive and let it work without Internet connection?

For anyone wondering, this is the game in question: https://cdn2.addictinggames.com/addictinggames-content/ag-assets/content-items/html5-games/tailspin/index.html

Video and Audio URLs obtained from yt-dlp -g are downloading very slow. How to fix?

I am trying to get the original video file from a YouTube video by using the yt\-dlp \-g command (short for yt\-dlp \-\-get\-url) to get the video URL and audio URL. I can successfully get both URLs, but when I download them it downloads very very slow (\~150 kb/s). Is there any way I can speed up the download speed?

Historical data hoarders at the library of Alexandria lost untolds amount of work and knowledge after the library was burned. Sumerian texts survived 4000+ years due to being written on clay tablets. Is there any efforts to transcribe some of our knowledge into more permanent media?

I mostly hoard books. Its amazing how many I can fit onto just a small 10 tb hard drive. But if that gets wet, dropped, or someone holds a magnet to it, I've lost millions of hours of research and knowledge from 10's of thousands of authors.

Even looking at the history of the dead sea scrolls, Whatever idiots were in charge of transporting those did an awful job. They were taken from the dry desert to a place where they could get humid and rot.

Are there any organizations out there that have transcribed some of our more important items into stone or clay? I've been looking more into Sumerian history and the reason we have many of these items still is because they were carved into clay - and clay can last a pretty long time.

Its kind of short sighted of humans to think we're immune to a giant asteroid or nuclear winter. In that situation, What would humans 5,000 years in the future after a major catastrophe be able to look back on and decipher about the 2000s?

Edit: also I can't believe I forgot about plastic. That supposedly forever product that never breaks down. Does anyone know if it is really as permanent as something like ceramic? I've seen it become quite brittle and disintegrate when left out in the sun for even 6-12 months
