Cultural Announcement

An exhibition uniting the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol opened Wednesday at the Louis Vuitton Foundation. Between 1984 and 1985, the artists created about 160 paintings together, including some of the largest works created during their careers — these works will be on display — as well as individual works by each and paintings by major artists of the New York art scene of the 1980s.

Through April 23, the Grande Halle de La Villette hosts a contemporary art exhibition with works by emerging artists. There's film, design, fashion and photography. Admission is free.

The largest temporary amusement park and the oldest fair in Europe, Foire du Trône, is back in Paris. Until May 29, you can ride the brightest Ferris wheel, rides, and a ride on a ghost train. Every year 5 million visitors come here.
