A little about chess

Chess is a magical game which boosts your creative thinking. I’ve always been passionate about it for the diverse tactics and brilliant moves. As an 11 year old boy, in 2006, i got the second place in Chess open competition held in Kashkadarya. I participated without attening any course, my only teacher was my dad, a brillaint chess player, who taught me basics about this game.
Due to my failure to get the first place i gave up pursuing my dream to become a professional chess player. I will explain why? Final game was against a teenager who was a few years older than me. He was a multiple time champion in Kashkadarya and was back from a chess tournament held in Germany. I knew he was much higher ranked player, but i was determined to win . I still vividly remeber the moves in that game, he beat me easily no matter how hard i tried because he was just making the right moves. It was then i understood chess is mostly about memorization. As long as you make right memorized moved you are already a top chess player. This was the moment i lost my interest in the game.
