⚡️ West vs China | Huawei vs. NinjaPhone
KimDotcom recently suggested that using secure apps like Signal is pointless on insecure devices and recommended Huawei phones, implying your data would be safer stored in China.
Here is our comments about his post and why it is misleading:
China’s surveillance far outstrips that of the West. From AI-powered facial recognition to the Great Firewall, Chinese citizens face constant monitoring, both online and offline.
? Social Credit System
China’s government tracks and rates citizens’ behavior, influencing their access to services. No Western equivalent exists.
? Internet Freedom
China heavily censors the web, blocking platforms like Google and Facebook. The West, in contrast, generally promotes greater internet access and communication tools.
? Corporate vs. Government Control
In the West, tech companies like Google and Facebook operate under legal frameworks that provide some user choice. In China, companies comply with government directives without transparency.
? Legal Protections
Western countries offer stronger legal protections for personal data, such as GDPR in Europe. In China, the government holds broad powers over data with minimal privacy protections.
—— Huawei vs. Ninjaphone ——
1️⃣ Closed vs. Verifiable
Huawei: HarmonyOS mixes open-source with proprietary components, under the watchful eye of the Chinese government. Privacy violations, mass surveillance, and detention camps are all linked to this regime.
Ninjaphone: Powered by GrapheneOS, a privacy-first, open-source system, Ninjaphone prioritizes data protection and transparency, with no hidden backdoors.
2️⃣ Security & Data Control
Huawei: In China, companies like Huawei must comply with government demands, putting your data at risk. Trade restrictions also limit security updates.
Ninjaphone: With no forced cloud integration, users control their data. Regular security updates ensure your data stays protected.
3️⃣ Surveillance Concerns
Documented evidence shows Huawei tech being used for surveillance in oppressive regions like Xinjiang. As seen with the Hong Kong protests and the treatment of Chinese dissidents abroad, the CCP has been known to pressure companies and individuals outside of China to comply with its censorship and surveillance demands.
4️⃣ Global Data Reach
Huawei: Chinese data collection extends beyond borders, influencing worldwide politics and dissent.
Ninjaphone: GrapheneOS keeps data local, safeguarding it from both corporate and government intrusion.
5️⃣ Backdoor Protection
Backdoors? Even if a backdoor exists, using end-to-end (E2E) encrypted apps like Signal or SimpleX ensures that your data can't be read by unauthorized parties, even more so as they don't store the messages on central servers.
Put simply, using end-to-end encrypted apps is like speaking a unique language that only you and the person you're communicating with understand. Even if someone listens in, all they hear is gibberish that can't be translated without the special code that only you and your contact have.
P.S. He also recommended using Huawei with Session. As mentioned a few times in our channel, we do not recommend Session for various reasons.

⚡️ Important Update for Telegram Users
Since two years ago, we recommended that if you're using Telegram, you should back up any content you want to save and avoid linking your account to a personal number tied to your ID.
We said this because we could see where things were heading.
This approach would protect individuals from being falsely labeled as subscribers to channels with content related to various global movements, which can be used to accuse them of wrongdoing. It would also shield them from being identified as participants in protests or events where they exercised their right to free speech.
Despite what you might hear, Telegram does NOT encrypt group chats, channels, or regular conversations by default. While it offers manual encryption for one-on-one chats (mobile only), there are better privacy-focused alternatives out there.
We are not sure why for more than 3 years this false narrative of Telegram being an encrypted app has been pushed by MSM.
We personally had to argue with a Professor out of a prestigious university in Sydney, Australia, who claimed that Telegram was an encrypted app. She claimed that during 2020 to 2023, it was a place for conspiracies, leading to social unrest, wanting it to be shutdown.
We explained that her claims were absolutely false. And guess what? She was a Professor with a background in IT and information systems! Imagine how many people look up to her for her "expert" opinion.
It is much easier to create an anonymous account on WhatsApp or Signal than it is on Telegram. Telegram often bans numbers. The encryption method used by Signal and allegedly WhatsApp, is far superior. Telegram used a questionable encryption algorithm.
So, why all the fuss?
We also know that in Australia, based on real examples of harassment or other events, the police can get into WhatsApp, FB, Instagram, but Telegram was not something they had access to (back 2 years a go). That would explain why WhatsApp is not their focus, despite being used a lot more.
*? Two possible scenarios:*
1️⃣ Controlled Narrative? – Telegram's founder may be playing a role in the larger agenda, with Telegram becoming more controlled and requiring verification. We can already see based on various historical events that he was attending the WEF and also releasing features (such as advertising and birthday) that would enable introducing further control points.
2️⃣ Targeting a Platform? – Authorities might be cracking down on Telegram due to its popularity for sharing information and organizing protests. Perhaps to use it as an example to scare others.
✅ Recommendations
• Back up any channels or videos you value, just in case access is restricted or the channel is wiped. Contact us if you need help.
• If you've used secret chats for sensitive topics, ensure both parties delete the messages for good.
• If you manage a channel or community on Telegram, its best to consider diversifying your community. We have been doing this since day 1 by auto mirroring all our posts onto Element (matrix.org) and recently on SimpleX and other channels. Contact us if you need help.
• Do not use your personal number for Telegram when possible. Contact us if you would like a second number that can be used for Telegram, Signal, or other services.
Remember, Telegram’s privacy policy states that once both parties delete a chat, it's gone forever. This is why we’ve always advised using disappearing messages to avoid leaving a digital trail or being at the mercy of someone else and their habits.

Caution: Low-Liquidity Cryptos' Price Surges May Signal Risk ?
When a crypto with little liquidity experiences a significant increase in percentage value, it might not be a reason to get excited. Here's why:
2. Volatility: Low liquidity often leads to higher volatility. While large price movements can be tempting, they also come with increased risk of rapid price drops.
3. Risk of Pump and Dump: Pump and dump schemes are more common in low liquidity markets. Traders might inflate the price to attract attention and then quickly sell off their holdings, causing the price to crash.
What we mean with this is if you see a crypto that on CoinGecko shows an impressive increase in value with a green sign showing (+60%), it means very little unless you can actually liquidate your position at that price.

We have noticed that many people are so desperate for answers that they will follow any path that seems to have answers, and in exchange they part with a fragment of their soul. Eventually, bit by bit, in search of answers and in the hopes of gaining a sense of security, the soul becomes fragmented by giving its focus and energy to false prophets.
But much of it is just smoke and mirrors, illusions created by magicians to hypnotize people. To make them fall under their spell.
As a great mind said, people come out of a ditch and fall into a well. As in they may have been better off in the ditch than to fall into the well by adopting a new persona based on ideologies that seem to lessen the fear or confusion, or even worse making the person believe they have reached spiritual enlightenment and thus making them even more dangerous. As they feel that they have a moral responsibility to change others based on what they think they are right about.
No one is perfect and we have all fallen for the wrong path at one stage or another. Solutions should self-inspired based on shared knowledge, not solely driven by fear.
The question is not what was offered, but what did we buy and what did we exchange for the lie... No man can serve two masters.
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in. sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves."
