✒️ The Condition of Muḥammad al-ʿArīfī
? "What is the condition of al-ʿArīfī, for I have heard some people say that he is better than the ʿUlamāʾ of this time. Similarly, thousands upon thousands are guided through him. We hope you clarify to us his what he was wrong in and fell into an error in."
?️ Shaykh ʾAbū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān Jumʿān Ibn Ramaḍān Laḥmar (حفظه الله ورعاه):
"Al-ʿArīfī is a Ḥizbī from the Ḥizbīyyīn, a Mumayyiʿ from the Mumayyiʿīn, and he is lost from the lost. And he is not a Scholar, that you say he is from the ʿUlamāʾ of this Ummah, of this time. He is not a Scholar. He is a Mumayyiʿ Daʿī, and he is a Ḥizbī. And "thousands upon thousands", this is exaggeration. He puts himself on the Screen, and also with that make-up. We ask Allāh for safe-being. What is this?! He trialls himself between the women, and the likes of that. This is a indication of Tamayyuʿ which is with him. And also from what he has of Manhajī mistakes; regarding the Muslim Rulers.
Therefore, he is a Ḥizbī, Taʿbān. He should not be listened to, and he is not a Scholar. The Scholar is the one who cultivates the people upon the Kitāb and the Sunnah, and not upon these which the Ḥizbīs do from the Mukhālafāt to the Kitāb and the Sunnāh."

New carpet in the Markaz of our Shaykh, حفظه الله.
May Allāh عزوجل preserve this blessed Markaz.
✒️ Fasting the 11th of Muḥarram despite the Ḥadīth regarding it being weak
? "Ibn Taymīyyah mentioned that a person fasts ʿĀshūrāʾ (10th of Muḥarram) as three days (9th, 10th, and 11th). Is this from the Sunnah; that I fast tomorrow (the 11th) as well?"
?️ Shaykh ʾAbū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān Jumʿān Ibn Ramaḍān Laḥmar (حفظه الله ورعاه):
"From the aspect of the permissibility, then it is permissible that you fast tomorrow (the 11th), and Ibn al-Qayyim put this level as being best; to fast three days: the 9th, the 10th, and the 11th. This is the best of the levels according to Ibn al-Qayyim رحمة الله تعالى عليه. He made istidlāl using the Ḥadīth of Ibn ʿAbbās رضي الله تعالى عنه about the statement of his عليه الصلاة والسلام:
"صُومُوا يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ، وَخَالِفُوا فِيهِ الْيَهُودَ، صُومُوا قَبْلَهُ يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْدَهُ يَوْمًا"
"Fast the day of ʿĀshūrāʾ, and oppose the Jews in it; fast a day before it or a day after it."
So fast a day before it or a day after it. The day before it the 9th and the day after it is the 11th. This Ḥadīth of Ibn ʿAbbās is found with Imām Aḥmad and it's a weak Ḥadīth; in it is an unknown narrator. In it is an unknown narrator. A weak Ḥadīth.
However, there are general Aḥādīth; the Ḥadīth of Abī Hurayrah in Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim. Al-Nabī ﷺ was asked: "Which fasting is the best after Ramaḍān?"
He said:
"شَهْرُ اللهِ المُحَرَّم"
"The Month of Allāh, al-Muḥarram."
Therefore, it is permissible for you to fast all of Muḥarram. So if he fasted the 11th after the 10th, then there's no problem in that, and if he limited to the 10th, then there's no karāhah (dislike) in that, and he has reward for that, in Shāʾ Allāh. And if he fasted the 9th and the 10th, then this- Al-Nabī ﷺ intended and showed importance to fast the 9th with the 10th, but he did not reach the following year except that he ﷺ passed away. Therefore, whosoever fasts the 9th and the 10th, then he does so upon the Sunnah."

? “What is the ruling in raising the hands for Duʿāʾ in the last hour of Yawm al-Jumuʿah (Friday)?”

"It is permissible, due to the generality of the Ḥadīth of Salmān:
"إِنَّ الله حَيِيٌّ كَرِيمٌ يَسْتَحْيِي مِنْ عَبْدِهِ إِذَا رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ يَرُدَّهُمَا صِفْرًا"
“Verily, Allāh is munificent and generous and is ashamed to turn away the empty hands of a servant when he raises them to Him.”

? “Is Duʿāʾ made in Sujūd al-Sahw and what do we say in this Sujūd?”

▪️Duʿāʾ For Breaking The Fast▪️
Our Shaykh, Ḥāfiẓ, al-Muḥaddith, al-Faqīh, ʾAbū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān Jumʿān Ibn Ramaḍān Laḥmar (حفظه الله ورعاه) was asked on the 1st of Jumādā al-Ākhirah, 1442H:
? "What is the condition of the Ḥadīth?
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
Thirst has gone, the arteries are moist, and the reward is ensured, if Allāh wills."
?️ Shaykh ʾAbū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān Jumʿān Ibn Ramaḍān Laḥmar (حفظه الله ورعاه):
"It comes from the route of Marwān Ibn Sālim al-Muqaffaʿ, who is Majhūl.
As for the Ḥadīth, then al-ʿAllāmah al-Albānī declared it as Ḥasan. However, what's correct is that it's Ḍaʿīf."
