Shaykh Ashraf Ali Thanvi says in his abridgement of Hidāyat al-Hikma regarding the belief of the Fālasifa around resurrection for the Day of Judgement: "They said: there will be no resurrection. We said [in response]: you shall see.

The law of non-contradiction can be illustrated with an example:

Let A represent a contradictorily opposed notion to B, signifying that the existence of A entails the non-existence of B, and vice versa. Should both A and B be assumed to coexist, this would lead to a logical contradiction, as their conjunction implies their mutual inexistence – a manifestation of the logical negation inherent in their opposition.

Amīr al-Mu'minīn: Become the Qādhī!

Abū Hanīfah: I'm not worthy of this

Amīr: You lied

Abū Hanīfah: The fact I lied shows I am not worthy of it, and if you said I am truthful then you wouldn't have asked me.
