Eshmat wants to apply to American universities but he doesn't know when to start

1️⃣ Eshmat needs to get his college list done in Summer. He needs to know which colleges he will apply based on his test scores and scholarship availability.
2️⃣ The Common App opens on 1st August meaning Eshmat can start applying to universities on August 1 but he doesn't need to rush because he has enough time...
3️⃣ The CSS profile opens on 1st October. Each university has their CSS deadlines so Eshmat needs to check with his university.
4️⃣ If Eshmat has everything ready and wants to apply early, he can apply for Early Action and Early Decision. The deadline for Early Action and Early Decision is usually November 1 or November 15.
5️⃣ If Eshmat is not ready yet, he can apply for Regular Decision. The deadline for Regular Decision is January 1.
6️⃣ If Eshmat is still not ready, he can try applying for Rolling Admission but very few universities have Rolling Admission. Eshmat can apply under Rolling Admission until late April.
7️⃣ The results are announced depending on terms.
Early Action — December 1 - January 31
Early Decision — December 1 - January 31
Regular Decision — Late February - Early April
Rolling Admission — within 4-6 weeks

You want to apply to American Universities, then you need to know how much money you will spend beforehand💰

1️⃣ IELTS test - $180 (I did self-study for 1 month and took IELTS but If you are going to a center, then add the monthly payments too)
2️⃣ SAT test
Exam fee - $115
Preparation - $200 (I studied SAT for 2 months at $100 monthly payment)
3️⃣ Sending SAT score to universities
$12 per university
If you apply to 10 universities, you will spend around $120 for sending your SAT score
4️⃣CSS profile
$25 for the first institution
$16 for every institution
If you apply to 10 universities, you will spend around $170 for sending your CSS profile
5️⃣ Application fee
If you apply through Common App, you can apply to 20 universities for free
6️⃣ University deposit
$250 - $500 depending on the university
7️⃣SEVIS Fee - $350
8️⃣ Visa interview fee - $185
9️⃣ Plane ticket
Between $800 - $1200
🔟 Insurance, travel money, emergency funds
$2000 - $3000 depending on your choice

OVERALL: $5200
Keep in mind❗️- This is the approximate amount, and it depends on your situation so don't think it is too expensive
