The limitation of resources and the need to fill the vacancy within a deadline force us to think creatively in all directions.
Right now, we're receiving non-standard hiring requests. And the old familiar solutions no longer work. JobBoards sourced till the limits, and there's no one suitable on Monster, Indeed. On LinkedIn, candidates aren't responding at all.

?What should we do?

We need to expand our possibilities and create a search map.

? What helps me in such situations?
- Understand what is my ideal candidate surrounding.
- What are their interests, activities, and where do they ask professional questions?
- Which companies has the ideal candidate worked for or is working at? What are the advantages and disadvantages of their current company compared to the one being offered?
- Which educational institutions and faculties could the candidate have attended?

? What else should we pay attention to when building the search map?
- What social networks are popular in this region or country?
- How do such candidates prefer to receive messages and information?
- Who influences the decision-making process?
- What unique proposition could be offered to the candidate?
- Find out where current employees have come from.
- Where do they engage with the community? What platforms do they use to exchange industry news?

Today, I've shared a portion of what helps broaden the search horizons and, as a result, expedite the hiring process.

Next, I will share with you:
- How the skill of sourcing helps establish a balance in work.
- Increasing the speed of hiring.
- Elevating the skill of sourcing.

Are you ready? ?

? Today, I am testing and showing how Notion AI can be used for various tasks, such as brainstorming, writing letters, improving writing, fixing grammar and punctuation, and creating briefs for job postings, as well as composing interview questions and much more.

?Finally, I asked it to write a poem about recruitment in the current conditions. I liked the English version better :)

? #Recruitment Struggle

It's hard to find talent in IT,
The job market changes in a snap.
Demand for skills is high,
But finding them is difficult, even when you try.

Finding the right skills is tough,
The competition is strong and rough.
Talent search is a fight,
And there are never enough tasks to complete in sight.

The job market is a gathering place,
Where candidates are plentiful and in space.
Interviewing is a long task,
And selection is always a big responsibility to ask.

But despite the struggle and hard work,
The search for talent will continue and never shirk.
After all, it will all be worth it in the end,
When we find the right talent, our ideas will ascend.

So let's continue our struggle and fight,
Hoping we will find the best in sight.

**7 Principles of Effective Communication**

7 Principles of Effective Communication

Communication is important in our daily interactions. Knowing the principles of effective communication can improve our relationships, both personal and professional.

Here are the 7 principles which we integrate in each communication with client, candidate and actually anyone at Tech-recruiter LLC

1️⃣ Set Clear Objectives: Before communicating, decide what you want to achieve. Ask yourself, "What result do I want?" Having a clear objective helps you stay focused.

2️⃣ Consider Both Objective and Subjective Aspects: Effective communication involves more than just the outcome. It also considers how people feel. Strive for positive communication that takes emotions into account.

3️⃣ Recognize Shared Responsibility: Remember that communication involves everyone involved. Success depends on everyone participating. Focus on what you can do to bridge the communication gap.

4️⃣ Aim for Approval and Agreement: To achieve your desired outcome, seek mutual approval and agreement. Highlight the benefits for all parties. Understanding others' needs is important for finding common ground.

5️⃣ Understand the Communication Cycle: Communication includes receiving, processing, and transmitting information. Remember that information can be lost or misunderstood at each stage. Pay attention to the clarity of your message throughout.

6️⃣ Overcome Barriers: Effective communication requires overcoming common barriers. Be aware of denial, biases, and emotional or physical obstacles to understanding. Challenge your own filters and preconceived notions. Make sure everyone understands the end goal.

7️⃣ Cultivate Effective Communication Skills: Improve your communication skills for success. Practice active listening, expressing yourself clearly, grasping the main message, being non-judgmental, thinking factually, and using a non-directive style. Focus during conversations.

Want more sourcing requests? I have them :)

Searching for candidates who have been working in a specific company since a certain year allows us to find potentially experienced individuals.

? "2020 - Present" - substitute the desired year and get the desired result on Facebook, LinkedIn
site:facebook.com inurl:people "2021 - Present"
site:facebook.com "20* - Present"
site:linkedin.com/in "2018 - Present"

Changes on Facebook:

Instead of the search key phrase for profiles on Facebook being "profile photo," it's now better to use "profile picture" like this:

? site:facebook.com "profile picture" and then add your own keywords.

For example:
? site:facebook.com inurl:people "profile picture" "mobile developer"|"mobile dev"|kotlin|"android developer" LOCATION

? Another one on Facebook:
Did you notice the appearance of domain zones in the search results?

I've long been wondering how to make a more precise selection based on the domain, and here's the answer:

? site:de-de.facebook.com inurl:people

This search will show you individuals from Germany.
Exciting, isn't it? Fantastic!

ChatGPT Prompts - Snack Prompt

I'm testing different extensions which are functioning on the basis of GPT.

Here I am trying to compose my first email on Linkedin using Snack Prompt.

In the free version ChatGPT does not have the Style and Tone of the letter. Here, due to extension, we have similar opportunities.

I still stick to the tactic - take ideas, but adjust to fit your own style.
From person to person, communication is much more effective.

What do you think?
Have you tried similar extensions before?
