*There is an ongoing debate over the relative importance of after-school classes in early childhood education, with some believing that they should be compulsory in the parental curriculum, while others argue against this, supporting play instead. Personally, while I think that extra-educational activities have a highly positive impact on children's academic skills, I believe that a combination of both educational and non-academic activities is equally important.

Early childhood education is particularly important for academic success, especially when it involves extra lessons outside the school curriculum. In other words, children who participate in more after-school lessons are better equipped to excel academically in their chosen fields. For example, the most successful business leaders, professors, and highly educated role models in today's society are often those who experienced at least one year of early extra lessons as children and recommend regular attendance in such classes. This shows that these kinds of sessions play a significant role in further career development.

Apart from academic skills, however, there are several benefits associated with play that should be considered. Firstly, playing both physical and non-physical games fosters soft skills, such as communication, collaboration, and decision-making, which are crucial for every preschooler to succeed in the future. Secondly, children boost their confidence and self-esteem by participating in and, especially, winning certain competitive matches. Therefore, allowing children to play games brings about positive developments for both the children themselves and society as a whole.

I believe we can benefit from combining the two approaches by incorporating games into after-class sessions. Courses can offer more engaging educational games that improve both children's academic and soft skills. Quiz and competitive tasks which are already popular among students, for example, are effective ways to implement this methodology. Thus, combining these two approaches and integrating education-based games into lessons is essential for the general development of a child.

In conclusion, although education alone may be sufficient for academic success, the combination of both educational and non-academic activities is highly beneficial in creating an optimal environment for children*.

*The spirit of competitiveness has long been an effective motivating factor among students, workers, and everyday people. However, some question its positive influence, advocating cooperation instead. Personally, I believe competition in workplaces, education, and daily life is highly beneficial and, in many cases, more important than cooperation.

Integrating competition into workplaces can drive success. When people are rewarded based on their productivity, they are less likely to feel fatigued. For example, recent studies on the customer satisfaction survey at Amazon, a large multinational company with thousands of online and offline employees, have shown that staff are more active when there is ongoing competition offering significant rewards. This suggests that reluctance to perform tasks efficiently often comes from a lack of a competitive working environment that pushes employees to their limits. Therefore, promoting competition is key to the success of any business.

Educational institutions, especially schools, should also emphasize competition. Without competing against one another, students may lack the passion needed to succed academically. Additionally, regular tests and competitive events not only motivate students but also lead to higher levels of parental satisfaction, as parents see their children engaging more deeply in their studies.

However, cooperation is also essential for a well-functioning society. In certain cases, excessive competition can lead to political and emotional conflicts. Promoting cooperation can help to build more connected community. Therefore, while competition drives progress in many areas, cooperation should not be overlooked.

In conclusion, while teamwork and cooperation play an important role in creating a politically and emotionally connected society, competition in work and education is certainly crucial for driving success and improvement.*

*The diagram below illustrates hydroelectricity production. Overall, generating electricity from rain involves three main stages: initially collecting water in the reservoir, followed by the energy-producing phase, during which water is circulated by a pump, and finally distributing the electricity from the transformer station to different local areas using underground cables.

Firstly, water evaporated from the sea due to sunlight turns into rain, allowing seawater to be collected in a reservoir. The collected water in the reservoir is held back by a dam before production begins.

Once the water flows, a special valve under the reservoir controls the flow of water from the reservoir to the turbine, allowing water to either flow into or stop at the turbine. Water flowing through the turbine is then pumped back into the reservoir by a specialized pumping machine, allowing the circulation to continue until electricity is generated from the turbine.

Consequently, energy produced by the turbine is transferred to the transformer station using cables designed to withstand high voltage. The final stage involves distributing the produced energy to various locations, including local houses, large factories, hospitals, and schools, with the help of underground cables.*
