Azerbaijan has officially abolished the offices of “Russia Today” (Sputnik Azerbaijan) and the BBC, according to a statement from the country’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Ayhan Hajizade.

Hajizade clarified that while these media outlets will no longer have local offices, they may still be accredited in the country, but only with a single correspondent.
