‣ Send plenty salutations upon the Prophet ﷺ

‣ Ghusl [ritual washing of the whole body]

‣ Wear your best clothes

‣ Applying perfume [for men]

‣ Cleaning the teeth with siwāk/miswāk [cleaning twig made from the Salvadora persica tree (known as arāk, أراك, in Arabic)]

‣ Going early to the masjid

‣ Reading Sūrah al-Kahf

‣ Lots of Supplication

‣ Make supplication during the Hour of Response (between Asr and Maghrib)

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯

Note: There are other highly recommended acts which are not mentioned in the post i.e.

• Praying Fajr in congregation and reciting Sūrah as-Sajdah and Sūrah al-Insān in the Fajr prayer,

• Walking to the masjid instead of riding

• Not seperating or stepping up two people sitting together in the masjid,

• Listening to the Imām silently and attentively while delivering his sermon and not indulging in idle talk,

• Praying two units at home after the Friday prayer [or four (two+two) units of prayer in the masjid]

• Sending plenty of salutations upon the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ on the day of Friday and the night before [after (Thursday)] maghrib prayer.

Men that have Gheērāh (protective jealousy for their womenfolk)are very rare, societies is filled with Ad-Dayyuth.

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

“There are three upon whom Allāh has made Paradise Ḥarām (forbidden):

• The one addicted to intoxicants

• The one who is disobedient (to his parents)

• And the Dayyooth (shameless one) who approves lewd/evil acts of his womenfolk.”

📓-[ رواه النسائي في السنن ٦١١٣]

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“And that is because Gheerāh (protective jealousy) is from the basis of this religion so whoever lacks it then he lacks Deen, hence to Allāh a Dayyooth is the most vile creature and Jannah is Harām upon him.”

📓-[الجواب الكافي]

You want to marry a practicing Muslim man but you also want him to flaunt you everywhere - think again cause a practicing Muslim man wouldn't want to be a Dayyuth he would have Gheērāh.

How blessed is the woman that finds a man who loves Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ more than he loves her and he is jealous for her!

No unknown men Shall have right to enjoy the beauty of his wife

Send Abundant Blessings upon Prophet ﷺ

The hadith narrated by Aws ibn Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) is a reminder to increase our prayers upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on Fridays. He said:

“Indeed, one of the best of your days is Friday, so increase your prayers upon me on it, for your prayers are presented to me.”

Narrated by Abu Dawood with a sound chain of narration.

This hadith emphasizes the virtue of Friday and the importance of frequently sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ on this day, as it carries great reward and merit.

Sometimes in life, we reach a point where we have two paths: one leading to Allāh and the other to our desires. In those moments, choosing Allāh’s command and following His path seems like hardest thing to do. But we often forget that when we leave something for Allāh, He blesses us with something better.

One thing about our desires is , once they are fulfilled, there is no real fulfillment in it.
They often leave us hollow. We desire things one after another, and the cycle is never ending.

Whereas when Allāh blesses us with something, there is peace in that fulfillment and a kind of contentment.

So, let this be a gentle reminder to myself and to all of you:
when life brings you to a road where you have to choose between Allāh and your desires, choose Allāh.

For when one choose Allāh's path he opens other beautiful paths for us that we have never imagined.

The Prophet ﷺ said,

“Let one of you ask his Lord for his needs, all of them, even for a shoestring when it breaks.” (Tirmidhi 3604)

Sometimes we hesitate, thinking our needs are “too minor” to bring before our Lord.

But who else is it that will provide for you if not Allāh سبحانه و تعالى?

A’isha رضي الله عنها said,

“Ask Allāh for everything, even shoelaces, because if Allāh does not make it easy for you to obtain it, you will not obtain it.”

Even for something as insignificant as a broken shoelace, remember that Allāh is the One who provides, and He is near.

“Or who is it that will provide for you if He withholds His provision?” (Qur’an 67:21)

What’s amazing is that Allāh has made Himself directly accessible to us. We don’t need any intermediaries to reach Him.

Whenever the people asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ questions, Allāh would respond by saying, “Say [O Muhammad]...”

But when they asked about Allāh Himself, the response was personal:

“When My servants ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about Me: I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me.” (Qur’an 2:186)

So ask Only Allāh for all the things that you want in your life.

☘️All You Need to Know About Jumu'āh (Friday)☘️

? The Messenger of Allāh (sallAllahu ʿalayhi wa ’aalihi wa sallam) said:

Verily, Allāh has made this day (of Friday) a celebration for the Muslims. So whoever comes to Friday (prayer), then let him bathe himself, and if he has any perfume let him put some on, and use the toothstick.

What is the ruling on sending text messages every Friday and ending with the phrase “Jumu’āh Mubārak”?

He replied:

The early generation (salaf) did not congratulate one another on Fridays (did not say Jumu’āh Mubarak to each other) so we should not introduce anything that they did not do.

? [Shaykh Ṣāliḥ Al-Fawzān (Ḥafiḏahu ’llah), Ajwabat As’ilah Majallat al-Da‘wah al-Islamiyyah]

? Ibn al-Qayyim (Raḥmatu ’llāhi ‘alay-hi) said:

? The Prophet of Allāh (sallAllahu ʿalayhi wa ’aalihi wa sallam) reported to have said:

The best of prayers with Allāh is the prayer of morning (Fajr) on the Day of Friday in congregation.

? [as-Saheehah, 1566]

? The Prophet of Allāh (sallAllahu ʿalayhi wa ’aalihi wa sallam) said:

? The Prophet of Allāh (sallAllahu ʿalayhi wa ’aalihi wa sallam) said:

? The Prophet of Allah (sallAllahu ʿalayhi wa ’aalihi wa sallam) said:

There is such an hour on Friday, that if any Muslim makes Du’ā during it, his Du’ā will be accepted.

? [Ṣaḥīḥ Al-Bukhārī, 5295, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 852]

? The Prophet of Allāh (sallAllahu ʿalayhi wa ’aalihi wa sallam) said:

Whoever performs Ghusl on Friday, and bathes completely, and goes early, arriving early, gets close and listens and is silent, there will be for him in every step he takes, the reward of a year of fasting and standing (in prayer).

? [Jami’ at-Tirmidhī, 496]

? [Ibn al-Qayyim (Raḥmatu ’llāhi ‘alay-hi), Zaad al-Ma’ad, 1/893]
