A lot of stuff has accumulated in the field and around the barn over the past year! Together we want to clear out, arrange the firewood and make the place again beautiful. Helping out also means showing solidarity with the organic farmer who was forcibly expropriated for the eastern “bypass” and on whose land we are living our protest! Pack your friends and a warm jacket and come to Liwö! We will be there the whole day and there will be warm food!

A community-supported agriculture is being created in Lichtenwörth!
And we need you so that this dream can come true and we can get a little closer to living food sovereignty in the area in and around Wiener Neustadt! Inspired by the protest vegetable garden on the squatted field, as an alternative to the ‘Wiener Neustadt eastern bypass’, we have now decided to take a more long-term approach to living utopia. We are now in the process of founding the first SoLawi near Wiener Neustadt, yay!

(share of the harvest = you pay an amount for the whole year and receive freshly harvested vegetables every week in return)

❓Why set up a SoLawi?
A year of gardening on the threatened field and place of resistance in Lichtenwörth has shown us more than ever how important it is to preserve our soils with regenerative vegetable cultivation. The idea of founding a Solawi was born - as a sign of food sovereignty, affordable vegetables and solidarity with one another! Because in order to live an alternative life, we need healthy basic structures, such as healthy food for all - so that we can preserve soil, biodiversity and seed diversity - and ultimately ourselves.

🌾 Solidarity agriculture huh? - What is that anyway?
As work in the agricultural sector is often precarious, the increase in extreme weather events can lead to crop failures and it is structurally impossible for small farms to survive financially, there is the concept of solidarity-based agriculture (SoLawi). This means that both the SoLawi harvest and the risks associated with growing vegetables are shared by all members in a spirit of solidarity, with the costs being financed in advance by the members.

🧑‍🌾🧑‍🌾 And who are we?We are a collective that wants to grow vegetables organically on half a hectare and share them with all members who make a solidarity contribution in the form of collaboration and/or a financial contribution. If there are crop failures, we are covered by the financial contributions. Members are welcome to join us in the field and learn more about vegetable growing. We lease the land from a farmer with whom we are also fighting together against the ‘Wiener Neustadt eastern bypass’. As a non-profit organisation, we are not out to make a profit, but stand for solidarity with one another and believe that we can come a little closer to a world without greed for profit through solidarity-based economic activity.

Right at the beginning, we are faced with a number of investments, such as foil tunnels, irrigation, garden tools,... which we can't manage without your help.
If you have a little money to spare, why not support us with a donation or a direct loan? With us, your money does more good than in the bank!

❓Wofür eine SoLawi gründen?
Ein Jahr Garteln auf dem bedrohten Acker und Ort des Widerstandes in Lichtenwörth hat uns mehr denn je gezeigt, wie bedeutsam es ist, unsere Böden mit regenerativem Gemüseanbau zu erhalten.
Die Idee eine Solawi zu gründen ist entstanden - als Zeichen für Ernährungssouveranität, für leistbares Gemüse und für ein solidarisches Miteinander! Denn um eine Alternative zu leben brauchen wir gesunde Grundstrukturen, wie gesunde Nahrung für alle - damit wir Boden, Biodiversität und Saatgutvielfalt erhalten können - und letztendlich uns selber.

🌾 Solidarische Landwirtschaft hää? - was ist das überhaupt?
Da die Arbeit im landwirtschaftlichen Bereich oftmals prekär ist, es durch die Zunahme von Extremwetterereignissen zu Ernteausfällen kommen kann und es kleinen Betrieben strukturell verunmöglicht wird sich finanziell zu erhalten, gibt es das Konzept der solidarischen Landwirtschaft (Solawi). Dies bedeutet, dass sowohl die Ernte der Solawi, als auch die mit dem Gemüseanbau verbundenen Risiken von allen Mitgliedern solidarisch geteilt werden, indem die Kosten durch die Mitglieder im vorhinein finanziert werden.

🧑‍🌾🧑‍🌾 Und wer sind wir?
Wir sind ein Kollektiv, das auf auf einem halben Hektar biologisch Gemüse anbauen und auf alle Mitglieder, die einen solidarische Beitrag in Form von Mitarbeit und/oder einem Geldbeitrag leisten, aufteilen will. Kommt es zu Ernteausfällen sind wir durch die finanziellen Beiträge abgesichert. Mitglieder sind herzlich eingeladen mit uns am Feld zu ackern und mehr über Gemüseanbau zu lernen. Wir pachten die Fläche von einem Bauern mit dem wir auch gemeinsam gegen die „Ostumfahrung Wiener Neustadt“ kämpfen. Wir sind als gemeinnütziger Verein nicht auf Profit aus, sondern stehen für ein solidarisches miteinander und glauben, dass wir einer Welt ohne Profitgier durch solidarisches Wirtschaften ein klein Stückchen näher kommen können.

🐌 Supporten - aber wie?
Gerade am Anfang stehen wir vor einigen Investitionen, wie Folientunnel, Bewässerung, Gartengeräte,... welche wir ohne deine Hilfe nicht stemmen können.
Wenn du ein bisschen Geld übrig hast, unterstütz uns doch durch eine Spende oder durch einen Direktkredit. Bei uns bewirkt dein Geld besseres als auf der Bank!!

?Fischa-Au goes Advent market?

On Friday 20 December from 14:30, we will be setting up a Christmas stall near the Bürgermeistergarten next to the capitalist Advent market. With homemade artworks and winter vegetables from the field, we want to offer a Christmas alternative to capitalism and continue to bring our protest to the city and to the people. ?

So come along and join us! We look forward to great conversations, music, biscuits and people who want to start their 2025 with a Fischa-Au Bleibt calendar?

On Tuesday, our structures were destroyed for the 3rd time by the ignorant and corrupt state and city government (pissnelken).
?We are here to stay, we will stay here!?
That's why this weekend is another action and building weekend?‍♀️Saturday and Sunday the destroyed structures will be rebuilt, there will be hot punch, roasted chestnuts, warm food and enough space for holes ?️

We have building materials, tools and building ground, bring your friends, fun instruments, warm socks, your favorite shovel and best digging hands.

The road is getting closer and it’s getting colder, just the perfect time for a cozy movienight. Tomorrow 30.09 at 18:30 we will watch a movie about a Altdorfer Wald (Alti) ? a forrest occupation in Germany together. The movie will be in german with english subtitles. After watching the movie there will be time for asking questions and talking about the current situations. The next morning 01.10 you can climb the trees yourself at a climbing skillshare ? .
