Attention all those in the area of Durham Region‼️ The Farmers are on the move tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9th. Let’s join the convoy and support the Farmers and Truckers‼️
Date: Monday, March 25, 2024
Place: Pickering City Council, One The Esplanade,
Pickering, ON L1V 6K7
Time: 7:00 P.M.
A4C Oshawa Chapter Leader, Terry Rekar, is speaking March 25th at the Pickering Council meeting in support of Councillor Lisa Robinson’s position on Black History Month. We need you to make every effort to be there and bring friends.
Councillor Lisa Robinson is courageously standing for true equality, saying “We cannot ever be equal as long as we allow colour to divide us.”
Thanks to everyone who came to the last council meeting on February 26, at which time 18 delegates spoke on Black History Month trying to discredit Councillor Lisa Robinson as being racist, homophobic, Islamophobic, etc. These delegations were all special interest groups which were, we believe, encouraged by Mayor Kevin Ashe and city councillors to further harass and discredit Councillor Robinson.
An article in Durham Region Newspaper titled "Lisa Robinson Must Go", printed Feb. 29 stated that Ward 1 Regional Coun. Maurice Brenner will be bringing forward a motion at the next council meeting asking the Ontario Human Rights Commission to hold a public interest inquiry.
It is crucial to come out to the March 25th Pickering City council meeting in support of Councillor Robinson to join with her and Terry Rekar in standing against the bullying tactics of the government.
Call to Action - please contact Pickering City Councillors to share your support for Lisa

? Urgent Call to Action! ?
Join us in a peaceful protest outside the DDSB headquarters located at 400 Taunton Road East, Whitby, at 4 PM. every school day. It's time to raise our voices and demand action from the Ministry of Education, Trustees, Durham District School Board, Teachers, and Educational Assistants.
Our children's education is at stake, and it's essential that we come together to address the pressing issues within our educational system. From curriculum concerns to safety measures, we can not afford to stay silent any longer.
Let's demand a town hall meeting where all stakeholders can engage in uncensored dialogue and find solutions to the challenges we face. We must assert our role as primary caregivers and advocates for our children, ensuring that our voices are heard and our concerns addressed.
It's time for change, and it starts with us. See you at the protest.
Spread the word, and let's make a difference together! #EducationMatters #ParentsUnited
Now that we got close to 400,000 for 4701 we now need to start promoting the sister petition Melissa mentioned E-4605
