𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐨 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭? Psalm 127:2 reminds us that “[God] grants sleep to those he loves.”

God designed rest not just for our bodies but for our souls, inviting us to pause and trust in His promises. When we rest, we acknowledge that we 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 🏋️ 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗹𝘂𝘅𝘂𝗿𝘆—𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆.

God does not want anyone to be a slave to work. He wants us to enjoy His gift of sleep 🛌.

Romans 8:39 reminds us of this truth: Nothing can separate us from God's love. Even when life feels overwhelming, His 💛 love uplifts us.

𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁, 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄.

Pause, breathe, and lean into His love today. Rest isn’t just about escaping struggles; 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.

In a world that glorifies busyness, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.

And rest feels impossible when guilt takes over. But Jesus showed us that even in the busiest seasons, taking time to ⏸️ pause, 🙏🏻 pray, and be with God is essential.

When we focus on Him, we’re reminded that 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲.

He calls us to lay down the heavy burdens we were never meant to carry and trust Him to work through us (Matthew 11:28).

It can be disheartening ? when treasured friends start to reject or criticise you because of your faith.

Jesus, however, encourages us to ?????? ????????? ?? ??? ?????. He says, "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first" (John 15:18). He encourages us to continue to love and care for our friends.

What does that look like? ?? ?????????? ?? ????? ??? ?????, ???? ??, ??? ??????, ?? ????. We are doing a loving thing by endeavouring to share the gospel with our friends—with gentleness and respect.

When it comes to Jesus, one thing always stands out: His unconditional, long-suffering love.

He endured the cross for us, even though we may reject His love. As Jesus has loved us, we can also extend that love to others.

By overlooking and forgetting minor offences, even some pretty large ones, it gives us the opportunity to point them to Jesus’ unconditional, long-suffering love.

Think of people who we can extend more of God’s love to this month!

Jesus could return perhaps today, yet we don't often think about how that would change the way we live. Perhaps we feel overwhelmed at the thought of it, or it just doesn't feel as pressing as our ? work deadlines.

Yet when we're faced with a serious illness, or someone we know passes away, then thoughts like "we should've made better use of our time" surface. ⌛️ ??? ??? ???? ????? ?????
