In a normal country, you feel …

In a normal country, you feel a commonality & safety with your fellow citizens and feel fear about foreign enemies

The Dems seceded from Americanism & Americans long ago. Now it's up to the Texas Nationalist Movement or Free Louisiana to make it official and lead the red states out of the Union so we can stop being ruled by people who think we're the enemy.

A polls shows 49% of Americans call Trump "fascist." In other words, the deplorables are their enemy more than foreigners who break our border law

Why a US National Divorce reduces political violence:

As power concentrates in DC, the importance of being the party that controls it becomes existential. Especially now that the DOJ & FBI hunts the opposition.

extended post:
When commies were a small share of the voters, both parties represented traditional (normal) America, but now one party is primarily commies, so the difference between parties is existential.

What will we do if Trump is killed? Are we going to let the Left decide who we can elect by eliminating our choices?

Read this slightly extended post:

It's obvious that we're not organized enough to solve the problem with force. And we don't have control of Federal law enforcement.

We can't even establish deterrence using force because that requires that future potential leftist assailants think that any attack is likely to result in worse losses to the left, which will never be true because the lack of violence from the Right so far proves that we're not the kind of people who do that sort of thing, and even a push by based influencers who doubled the number would not be enough to establish deterrence.

So I'm asking each of you to promise to make real financial sacrifices for the Texas Nationalist Movement and Free Louisiana ( FreeLouisiana.org ) if this unfortunately happens.

Free Louisiana told me that they haven't seen people stepping up to donate after the launch of their new organization. If you want things to get better, you'll have to make some sacrifices.

TNM didn't have the money to pay online signature collectors $100k to get the ballot question on the Dem party ballot last year, although they did have enough for the GOP ballot. We should be funding them better.

If you're waiting for someone else to do it, well let me tell you that it turns out that someone else isn't doing it.

If you know that "fighting back" is not going to work, you're still going to want to do SOMETHING. This is the best use of your time and treasure: funding the organization of a peaceful separation solution. Or finding a mega-donor to do it for you.

It's near the geographic center of population of the future red-state federation, so it would be nice to not have blue state law and military there.

In 2018, 31% said civil war within 5 years was likely. Now 41%.

49% say "unlikely" https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13375723/survey-CIVIL-WAR-student-protest-poll.html

Shock survey shows 100M now say CIVIL WAR will rip America apart

For many Americans, the pro-Palestine protests roiling US campuses expose a widening chasm between conservatives and liberals that could get even nastier in a divisive election year.

Of the 300 sizable secession movements around the world in the last 2 centuries that declared independence:
40% were granted it without violence
36% were refused or ignored and they backed down
24% were refused and violence ensued

Since 1945, in any given year only 10% of such secession movements were in a conflict yielding 1k deaths

Before 1865, 50% were, according to a comprehensive study by Prof. Ryan Griffiths (Age of Secession, p 57, 76)

The world has changed since the US war between the states

Before 1945, Euro powers divied up the world and attacked any country trying to trade with its imperial possessions. So countries were land-hungry for markets and access to raw materials

Since 1945, you don't need to have jurisdiction over territory just to trade with it.

So secession of poor countries doesn't hurt a country's economy or supply chain anymore.

On the contrary, attacking an area you trade with for trying to secede DOES hurt your economy and supply chain

From 1945-2011, there were 5 declarations of independences per year by sizable secession movements, and about 2.5 successful secessions per year

Countries that have nukes are more likely to allow their territory to secede, because they feel more secure, according to data

Examples of territories that peacefully got permission to secede, without an ethno-linguistic distinction are:
Certain republics of the USSR (1991)
Syria from the United Arab Republic (1961)
Venezuela and Ecuador from Columbia (1831)
