One of the benefits of reflecting upon the Book of Allah (the Quran) is that it enables a person to reach the level of certain faith and knowledge that it is indeed (surely without doubt) the Words of Allah.

The Quran’s Words, Eloquence and Literary Devices Forming Vivid Imagery in the Minds of the Readers

as-Suyooti (rahimahullah) mentions this point when he talks about the benefits he derived from contemplating the Quran and what he will expound upon in his book:

Point no. 8.

(I will give) an explanation to the profound intelligence of its (the Quran’s) rhetoric and an illustration into its vastness;

with the use of similes, parables, connotations, use of metonymy, grammatical shifts for rhetorical purposes, structure, foreshadowing, rhetorical shifts, flash-backing, parallel narratives (scene shifting in smooth transitions), epanodos, indications as well as other literary elements and techniques.

None of the people of innovation interpreted the Quran based upon the Sunnah, this is why they went astray and led others astray too.

Shaykh Rabee‘ bin Hadi al-Madkhali (rahimahullah) said:

The most powerful weapon we possess against the enemies of Allāh is unwavering faith, precise adherence, and a steadfast commitment to the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Messenger, صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيهِ وَسَلَّم.
