?Aspire Leaders Program

The program invites low-income, first-generation college students and recent graduates to participate in a free online interactive leadership program. Co-created by Harvard Business School, the program offers three modules: Personal and Professional Development, Immersive Learning, and Aspire Horizons Course.

Eligibility: 18-29 years old
Deadline: July 3rd

?Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads Contest

Organized by UNESCO, this contest seeks to promote photography as a tool for fostering mutual understanding and promoting peace among the people living along the ancient Silk Road. The Three winners in each age category will receive professional cameras, while the 60 best photos will be featured in a Youth Lens on the Silk Roads photo album.

Eligibility: 14-25 years old
Deadline: July 14th

?The National Poetry Competition

Run by The Poetry Society since 1978, the competition offers prizes for an unpublished poem of up to 40 lines and is open to all participants worldwide. Prizes include £5,000, £2,000 £1,000 for the first three winners, and commended prizes of £500.

?UFC Gym x Freshman Academy Collaboration

We are doing it! Freshman Academy partnered with UFC Gym to give our Alumni an exclusive instruction into the world of Mixed Martial Arts.

This Thursday, our students can wrestle with each other and their favorite mentors, following the paths of Georges St-Pierre, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Valentina Shevchenko, and many other MMA legends.

We are organizing two training sessions: a Hardcore Wrestling Training Session for experienced MMA practitioners and UFC-style Fitness Training for beginners.

The Freshman Alumni Fund sponsored the event, so it is free for all current and past Freshman Academy students. You may join the Alumni Network by completing any Freshman program.

?TopUni Camp 2024

TopUNI Summer Camp, in association with the Youth Affairs Agency, Freshman Academy, and Ibrat Farzandlari, offers young people from Uzbekistan a week of professional mentoring. Camp attendees will learn more about the application process for the most challenging bachelor's and master's degree programs abroad while receiving exclusive guidance from top university students and graduates.  

Eligibility: 16-25 years old

?Global Innovation Challenge

The Social Shifters Global Innovation Challenge is open to young leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs who wish to address urgent social and environmental issues. As a participant, you will receive personalized support from Shifters and 10.000 USD for your project if it wins the challenge.

?Immerse Education Essay Competition

Taking a top 10 position in this competition, you will receive a fully funded summer scholarship for top universities in Oxford, Cambridge, London, and others. The competition is open to students worldwide, providing a platform for young scholars to showcase their academic abilities and potentially secure a fully funded educational experience at renowned institutions.

École Polytechnique Calling: Umar's Engineering Journey

This spring, Umar Anvarov was accepted into École Polytechnique, a highly prestigious university in France.

Among over 5000 applicants, only around 120 made the cut this year, at just 2.4% acceptance rate.

Umar will be participating in a 3+2 program, spending two years pursuing a Master's degree at Columbia University after completing his undergraduate studies.

Attending the Freshman’s Admissions Program last June equipped Umar with essential skills in critical reasoning and evidence-based essay writing.

With an impressive SAT score of 1560, he also completed three A-level courses in math, chemistry, and physics at Tashkent Presidential School.

Last summer, Umar interned at Tashkent State of Chemical Technologies and Turin Polytechnic University, gaining valuable hands-on experience in material science and research.

He plans to focus on material science to contribute to Uzbekistan's industrial sector by optimizing material properties to reduce costs and improve quality.

? Welcome to Princeton, Sayfullo!

Originally from Bukhara, Sayfullo Saidov prepares to study at the same university as Jeff Bezos, John F. Kennedy, Alan Turing, Richard Feynman, and Michelle Obama.

A Tashkent Presidential School student, Sayfullo received a full-ride scholarship of more than $350,000, covering his tuition, accommodation, food, and flights.

He was one of the most iconic students of the Freshman Academy's Full Support Program, producing 15,000 words of reflections to write his motivational essay.

In the many discussions with Sayfullo, we learned immensely about his outstanding engineering endeavors, early life in Japan, and tourguiding experience in Bukhara.

Having access to Princeton's education and resources, Sayfullo plans to advance the Engineering and Sustainability fields in Central Asia.
