7 Essential Steps to Prepare for Ramadan

1. Set a Firm Intention:
   - Commit to maximizing worship and good deeds during Ramadan.
   - Make dua for determination and steadfastness.

2. Repent from Sins:
   - Seek forgiveness from Allah and make sincere repentance (Tawbah).
   - Abandon bad habits to start Ramadan with a clean slate.

4. Make Up Missed Fasts:
   - Complete any missed fasts from the previous year before Ramadan.

   - Learn about what breaks the fast, recommended actions, and how to maximize rewards.

One of the hardest truths to accept is that no matter how much we want someone to change, true guidance is only in the hands of Allah. As believers, our responsibility is to share wisdom with kindness, lead by example, and make sincere du’a—but the hearts of people will only transform when Allah wills.

🕊️ _The Power of Guidance Belongs to Allah_

Allah reminds us in the Quran:

"Indeed, you do not guide whom you love, but Allah guides whom He wills, and He is most knowing of the rightly guided."
(📖 Surah Al-Qasas 28:56)

Even the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the best of creation, was not able to guide his beloved uncle Abu Talib to Islam—because guidance is a divine decree.

🤲 Trust Allah & Keep Praying

When you feel helpless seeing a loved one struggling, turn to Allah. He hears every du’a and knows what is best for every soul.

اللَّـهُــــمَّ إِنِّـي أَسْـأَلُـكَ الْعَـفْـوَ وَالْعَـافِـيَةَ فِـي الدُّنْـيَا وَالآخِـرَة.

O Allāh, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in this world and in the Hereafter.

اللَّـهُــــمَّ إنِّـي أسْـألُـكَ عِلْمـاً نَافِـعـاً وَرِزْقاً طَـيِّـباً وَعَـمَلاً مُتَقَـبَّـلاً.

O Allāh, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision and acceptable deeds.

اللَّـهُــــمَّ إِنِّـي أَسـأَلُـكَ الْـهُـدَى، وَالـتُّـقَـى، وَالْعَـفَـافَ، وَالْـغِـنَـى.

O Allāh, I ask you for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.

Don’t ever give up praying, making du’a and asking Allah, even on days when they feel impossible and far too big for you to be praying for it. Allah SWT hears and he gives.

You want safety? Istighfār.
You want children? Istighfār.
You want strength? Istighfār.
You want a good life? Istighfār.
You want to be forgiven? Istighfār.
You want to be relieved of your worries? Istighfār.

Always keep Istighfār on the tip of your tongue.
