Staking -
1pt = 1 unit
1pt EW = a total of 2 units
1 unit is whatever amount you feel comfortable betting. Stick to this and don’t waver, whether it’s a 2/1 shot or a 33/1 shot. If I haven’t advised a double/treble/multiple then don’t place one (this is often an easy way to damage profit).

Increasing stakes -
I didn’t increase my stakes until well over a year after starting the OTTR page. Don’t just up stakes because of a period of success, if a downswing hits just after it’ll be brutal. Only increase stakes when you’ve developed enough of a “profit bank” to do so without needing to deposit etc.

Betting banks -
I recommend having a “betting bank” i.e. setting aside a sum of £ that you can afford & using that to bet from. I do this and unless opening a new account, will never deposit nor withdraw the full amount. This eliminates the need for consistent deposits.

Downturns -
Expect variance. I do not win every day, if that was the case I certainly wouldn’t be working! However what I can near enough guarantee (having ran OTTR for nearly 3 years) is that if you follow my selections & staking for a period of time ...you WILL make money. I’m not promising to make you rich, treat it as an added extra income.

Discipline -
I have long said that 90% of people betting on horse racing will lose. Why? Because they lack discipline or patience. Many follow numerous “tipsters” and as a result when one wins, that profit is damaged by others losses.
Don’t just stop following a successful account because they’re having a bad spell and don’t just start following others because they’ve had 1 or 2 good months.
Don’t follow too many accounts & ensure the ones you do are very reliable (and recording results PROPERLY).
Don’t chase losses with increased/varying stakes.
