In connection with the launch of $BLAST, the Foundation is excited to introduce Blast Governance, which is aimed to align incentives and provide the Blast community with influence over the Blast ecosystem.

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about the plan for Phase 2, how users and teams can participate, and how it all works generally.

Phase 2 has Points and Gold, similar to Phase 1, but the distribution mechanism will be different based on lessons learned in Phase 1.

The Blast Foundation will clarify how Phase 2 works in an in-depth guide next week.

The Blast airdrop is launching June 26.

We know this is past our initial estimate of May and we’re sorry for the delay. The airdrop allocation will be increased to account for this.

There will be two final Dapp Gold distributions before the airdrop.
