1. Tawhid and Tawwakul

Stay away from charms and increase in Tawhid. One of the greatest myths of all is the use of talismans to ward off the evil eye. ? = ❌

The Prophet said ﷺ: “Whoever hangs an amulet around his neck, Allah will not fulfil his wishes.."

[Ahmad no.16951]

1. Reciting the last 2 verses of Surah al-Baqarah every night.

The Prophet said ﷺ: “The last two verses of Surah al-Baqarah, whoever recites them at night, they will be sufficient for him.”

[Muslim no.807]

1. Reciting al-mu’awwidhatayn and Surah Ikhlaas

The Prophet said ﷺ: “Read al-Ikhlas and the two chapters of refuge, al-Falaq and al-Nas, every evening and morning three times. They will be enough for you against everything.”

[al-Tirmidhii no.3575]

1. Dua

The Prophet said ﷺ: “No servant says this 3 times in the morning and in the evening but nothing will harm him:

“Bismillahi alladhi la yadurru ma’ ismihi shai’un fil-ardi wa-laa fil-samaa’i wa huwa al-Samee’u al-‘Aleem”

[al-Tirmidhi no.3388]

1. Dua of Prophet Ibrahim

The Prophet said ﷺ: ‘Your father [Prophet Ibrahim] used to seek refuge with Allah for Isma’il and Ishaq with these words:

A’udhu bi kalimat Allah al-tammah min kulli shaytanin wa hammah wa min kulli ‘aynin lammah

The Blessings of Gratitude

Al-Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

"There is no man who sees the blessings of Allah upon him and says:

"الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ"

"al-ḥamdu lillāhi alladhī biniʿmatihi tatimmuṣ-ṣāliḥāt"

"All praise is due to Allah, by whose favour good deeds are accomplished,' except that Allah enriches him and increases his blessings."

Don’t say In Shaa Allaah after du’a.

None of you should say: “O Allah, forgive me if You wish; O Allah, be merciful to me if You wish.”

But he should always appeal to Allaah with determination, for nobody can force Allaah to do something against His Will.

The majority of us only have the weapon of Dua to exercise.

However, in order for the Dua to be accepted, it requires a sincere repentance from all forms of sins and transgression, turning back to Allah ﷻ religion with sincerity and honesty, being persistent and repeating the Dua many many times, day and night, afterwards, Allah ﷻ promises to answer the Dua. And He ﷻ answers it whenever He wants, the way He ﷻ wants.

The Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said:

“Supplicate to Allāh whilst you are certain that He will respond, and know that Allāh does not answer a supplication from a heart which is heedless of Him.”

Hadith : If you die after reciting this dua in night , then you will die as a Muslim

RasoolAllah SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam said whenever you go to your bed (for sleeping) say (these dua) and (After saying this) If you then die on that night, then you will die as a Muslim, and if you wake alive in the morning then you will receive the reward.

اللَّهُمَّ أَسلَمتُ نَفسِي إِلَيكَ، وَفَوَّضتُ أَمرِي إِلَيكَ
وَوَجَّهتُ وَجهِي إِلَيكَ، وَأَلجَأتُ ظَهرِي إِلَيكَ
رَغبَةً وَرَهبَةً إِلَيكَ، لاَ مَلجَأَ وَلاَ مَنجَا مِنكَ إِلاَّ إِلَيكَ
آمَنتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنزَلتَ، وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرسَلتَ‌‏

Allahumma aslamtu nafsi ilaika, wa fauwadtu Amri ilaika, wa wajjahtu wajhi ilaika, wa alja'tu zahri ilaika, reghbatan wa rahbatan ilaika. La malja'a wa la manja minka illa ilaika. Amantu bikitabikal-ladhi anzalta wa Binabiyyikalladhi Arsalta.

O Allah! I have surrendered myself over to you and have turned my face towards You, and leave all my affairs to You and depend on You and put my trust in You expecting Your reward and fearing Your punishment. there is no refuge nor escape from You except with You. I believe in the Book (Qur'an) which You have revealed and I believe in Your Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi wasallam whom You have sent.

Dua to recite while you see something good

It was narrated that Aishah Radi Allahu Anha said When the Prophet (ﷺ) saw something he liked,
he would say:
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ
Al-hamdu Lillahil-lazi Bi nimatihi tatimmus-salihat
Praise is to Allah by Whose grace good deeds are completed.

Hadith : The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is Sayydal Astagfar

The Prophet (ﷺ) said If somebody recites Sayydal Astigfar during the day with firm faith in it and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it and dies before the morning he will be from the people of Paradise. اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa ant, Khalaqtani wa ana abduk, wa ana 'ala ahdika wa wa'dika mastata't,Awuzu bika min sharri ma sana't, abu'u Laka bini'matika 'alay, wa Abu'u Laka bizambi fagfirli fa innahu la Yagfiru-az-zunuba illa anta.

Translation: O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be
worshiped except You, You created me and I am Your servant and I Obey to Your covenant and promise as best as I can,
I take refuge in You from the evil of which I committed.
I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin,
so forgive me, indeed none can forgive sins except You.
