Interesting read about the history of boron. It was widely used as a food preservative before the 1950's due to it's anti-microbial properties but then became outlawed due to a faulty study by a respected scientist and a baby formula manufacturing mishap where boric acid solution was mistakenly used instead of sugar solution which harmed some infants. I find it rather suspicious that this all happened around the same time our water supply in the USA became fluoridated. ?
