THE MOOD IN ISRAEL

In regard to hitting Iran and the war in Lebanon, the nation of Israel is at odds with the Biden Administration and other Western allies.

A strong majority want to see Israel strike Iran's nuclear and oil facilities, regardless of the risk of another major Iranian retaliation or even a regional war.

They see this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to cripple the Iranian threat, including the Hezbollah stranglehold on Lebanon.

From the perspective of many in the West, it might seem like madness for Israel to take such risks.

From an Israeli perspective, it seems like madness to miss this opportunity.

This comes just one day after a reportedly tense phone call between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden, who is trying to partially tie Israel's hands.

The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Israel Police have arrested a five-man ISIS cell established in the Israeli Arab town of Tayibe.

The cell was preparing to carry out an attack on the Azrieli Tower and shopping mall in Tel Aviv, possibly using a large car bomb.

Two Israeli soldiers were killed in the Golan this week.

On the night between Wednesday and Thursday, two drones were launched from Iraq and crossed into Israeli territory in the Golan Heights area.

One drone was intercepted by the Air Force, while the second hit a military camp in the northern Golan Heights.

♦️2 soldiers were killed
♦️2 were seriously wounded
♦️1 moderately wounded
♦️21 lightly wounded

According to a preliminary investigation by the IDF, the aerial defense array failed to properly detect the second drone.

This is the first time since the beginning of the war that an attack from Iraq succeeded in causing casualties in Israel.

Four days of targeted activity in southern Lebanon: 250 Hezbollah terrorists eliminated, including 21 commanders.

The IDF struck dozens of Hezbollah targets across southern Lebanon this evening.
