Once the butterfly miraculous was safely returned to Wang Fu, it seemed like the chaos caused by HawkMoth would end in Paris. However, Gabriel wasn't done causing trouble. The Broken Peacock Miraculous was still missing.

Natalie had the missing miraculous and Gabriel’s plan was for her to become Myura. She would create a creature called the Enigma, which had the knowledge of Ladybug and Cat Noir's identities and person life use this against them and steal their miraculous.

The guardian knew this would be too dangerous for just Ladybug and Cat Noir to handle. He knew that without more help they would like the enigma take over. So new heroes should arrive. But the ending wouldn't be as happy as before; it would be even worse than sad.
